  5. I have expanded my search scope to Malaysian athletes and found a few information (already sent to the feedbacks). This Twitter account (a Malaysian social foundation for ex-athletes) might be a good resource, for example it reported the death of 1968 Olympian Zambrose Abdul Rahman

  15. Meanwhile in Indonesia: a man got positive result for pregnancy after doing COVID rapid test (it turns out they used the wrong form - the correct rapid test result is unfortunately positive)
  16. This I didn't know.. So Santiago -> Saint James?
  17. Appreciate it! I'm a bit busy currently, but maybe next week I'll flood the feedbacks again
  18. Welp, because he who run this thread hasn't been here for a week
  19. Nah, many NOC presidents/VP are just politicians installed by ruling party or just wealthy businessman looking for a new cow to milk
  20. I'd rather ask you to quickly send the money to me instead The answer is no, I believe BWF is quite happy with what it has now. Mixed doubles in badminton have quite a good competition and already in the Olympics before all this mixed gender trend, unlike the half-hearted mixed doubles in tennis/table tennis. The idea of mixed team is not good too since it basically means it will be gold for China or maybe Japan if they caused an upset, which is not the stuff BWF wants to showcase. There won't be any team events in badminton at the Olympics, at least until 2028. Oh yeah also the extra costs for making the medals too, how dare you increase the cost
  21. City of Makassar (5th largest in Indonesia) might be the biggest contender for Best Covidiot City Award: 1. Blocking and shouting at health workers who are going to open a rapid test center 2. Hundreds of people stormed the hospital morgue and "steal" their relatives dead bodies because they don't want the bodies to be buried in the designated burial site for those who are COVID-19 positive or suspects 3. "We don't want any tests, we want free groceries"
