    I mean, what does she have to lose at this point? (She can pay for whatever surgery she needs afterwards.) (I say this while also hoping she doesn't injure herself more.)

    But our ice dance pairs are all better than Japan, so I wonder if C&B will do both, or let someone else take over. By comparison, our third best ice dance team scored 70 points better than Japan's entry in the Grand Prix (source) (Edit: Disregard my scoring math...I hadn't remembered that the Team event is about placement, not points.)

    Yep, for sure, and probably they know his stamina. (But he's so young, and surely he can handle an extra couple of minutes!) (Not me telling an Olympic athlete what he should do...haha.

    Lindsey was just asked about how she feels about how spread out the Olympics are...she wishes she could go to the OC, but she can't since it's 5 hrs away. Also wishes the athletes were closer together, to be able to see other events, etc.

    She's mentioning that she's been through something similar (back in 2019 during WCh), and ended up on the podium still. She says that was worse back then...we'll see!

    From what it appears to me, she can compete at her own risk. I also hope she will take care of herself...and yet when you're this close, I know the temptation might be too great.

    Lindsey just said in a press conference that her late coach would have told her, 'It's just 90 seconds. What's 90 seconds in the span of a lifetime?'

    Wondering if she'll do DH (and perhaps SG), but then have someone else compete on the Team.

    So she says! I just happened to turn on Peacock and noticed the press conference...watching now. ...and doing this with a ruptured ACL. Dang.
