  1. Probably she will follow this act.
  2. I would have expected them to pick double Olympic champion Mariana Pajon to light the torch, given she's not going to be able to compete. But I guess they decided to give the honor to their local hero, Rentería.
  3. Probably they're fixing Shakira's wardrobe, so they need those extra minutes
  4. On the right side of the page, there's a section that says "Competencias en curso"... I guess you can see there which ones are currently on stream.
  5. Also 4 live channels in the Games website http://barranquilla2018.com/en-vivo/
  6. Summary of Mexican competitors results (after Day 0) Irregular performance of our divers in the preliminaries of the 1m Springboard; all of them were very irregular in their executions and I pray they pulish those mistakes by tomorrow, or else they risk losing two valuable golds to their main rivals in the overall medal tally. With regards to other divers performance, I'm surprised that Knight-Wisdom (JAM) failed to qualify to the final in the men's events, while the performances of Colombian and Cuban competitors was quite good, so they shall have a confidence boost for tomorrow. In table tennis, expected results for both our teams; just hoping they can win their matches tomorrow so they can have a better chance for the medal, especially the men's team, which has enough potential to go into the finals. On a general note, I found the draws a little bit unbalanced, which in the end, have played in favor of Cuba; yet I think the rival to beat it's Puerto Rico. Also worth mentioning that Trinidad and Tobago men's team is not participating, due to their federation refusal to review the arbitrary exclusion of Dexter St. Louis as part of the team, following an award from their sports tribunal that ordered so, thus making the country's NOC to deny the other players the right to be at the Games. The most surprising result from a Mexican competitor however came in women's laser radial competition, with Elena Oetling winning two of the races and finishing second in the other , which gives her a better prospect to earn a medal, if not to finish top of the podium.
  7. I can bet she's some rich girl who only wants to travel around, as honestly, there hasn't been a proper training program in our federation. Well, better luck for her next time.

  9. Mexican girl in the Junior K-1 got above 500 penalties in both of her runs
  10. So far, it's live scoring is working well
  11. It seems it's fixed now... just instead of going to the "sport", try searching in the individual event, though still doesn't show properly for table tennis. As I said before, I just hope live results work properly tomorrow
  12. I can certify that the entries for Diving events are incorrect
  13. Well, they did something at least... let's pray for the entries to come later today or tomorrow morning and that there are some live results.
  14. Competition calendar is finally up
  15. Well, at least they give some color & identity to those buildings. I mean no offense, but a Mexican athlete shared that his room has a tin roof.
  16. [hide] [/hide]
  17. Mexican Olympic Committee will also have some live streaming on its own event webpage
  18. Except for men's 100m and 200m, kind of a reduced participation, probably because it's rather soon after CAC Games.
  19. They have made some minor modifications to the website, and according to the organizing committee, final entries were submitted on Friday. They're probably just processing that info and running tests on the final schedule/results page. Probably it will be finished between tomorrow and Tuesday.
  20. Interesting that each State of the FS of Micronesia is competing by itself
  21. Very satisfied with Mexico's performance in this edition, Sergio Esquivel's injury aside. This is the first time our athletes manage to win more than one medal, and the fact that they're both gold, it's even better. Hopes new administration retakes the emphasis and support for youth competitors, as it was between 1996-2012.
  22. Yeeeessss!! What a true champion she is Her second world title and in the same year. Finally, after years of poor development, we have a new race walk star. Only dissapointment was that IAAF’s comentators only focused in her in the last 2km... barely even mentioned her before
  23. Well, not the best effort by Hernandez in the long jump. Hopefully Vilches and Gonzalez can obtain a medal tomorrow.
  24. [hide] Knockout Round June 30th - July 15th, 2018 16 Nations, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Third Place Match and Final Third Place Match Date & Time Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 July 14th 2018, h. 17:00 (GMT+3) Belgium 2 0 England Final Date & Time Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 July 15th 2018, h. 18:00 (GMT+3) France 3 1 Croatia [/hide]
  25. Sad about Sergio Esquivel injuring himself after just one hurdle... not only he will be out in the first round but he will likely miss CAC Games as well On a more cheerful note, Susana Hernandez qualified to the Long Jump final, but still far from her PB.
