  1. Exactly, not the best outcome despite the win. But Mexico always struggle with this fast, dirty playing teams, so I just pray for a quality show against Sweden.
  2. Then I misread qualification document, but for sure Mexico will lose a quota.
  3. Agree. Belgium hasn't been really tested (like Russia), but still their attackers are quite effective, which can't be said of other squads. Croatia is looking OK and they could actually have a good run in the tournament, but I'm not sure they'll repeat their historic 3rd place.
  4. Seamus is really earning that lifetime supply of tequila @OlympicIRL
  5. I think those are just prelim results. Plus, Argentina is guaranteed a spot in either gender, if they decide to use it.
  6. Oh common you idiot, you should have sent every Korean off the field. And just know, a goal
  7. I'm sad about Tunisian team, cause they're not that awful. Hope they can beat Panama.
  8. This poor excuse of a referee should be teach when to show cards.
  9. France qualified to Eightfinals and Peru is eliminated

  12. What can I say? USA still lightyears ahead of their competitors; however, Argentina did great preventing a complete swept of the podiums, and obtaining other significant results. Canadians maintained their level, but the biggest dissapointments are Venezuela and Mexico; in concrete our men's sabre team finishing 11th . Hopes this increases the backlash against our federation president and force him to resign.

  16. I know, it's excessive for modern pentathlon, just select best 20 athletes, max 2 per country... but as you said, Ivar Sisniega is one of the masterminds behind the program so no chance for a reduction there. I'm surprised about CPE decision tough
  17. I wonder why, if they increased quotas in other sports, couldn't they add a couple more individual spots, given that fencing has seen some growing in the continent during the last 5 years.

  21. Probably just a threat from "sweet, innocent, greatest leader, alpha male, benevolent and children's friend" Vladimir Putin himself to eviscerate them like they did 30 years ago, if they didn't advance from the group stage.
  22. Congratulations Senegal. Well played Poland
