  1. Mexican girl in the Junior K-1 got above 500 penalties in both of her runs
  2. So far, it's live scoring is working well
  3. It seems it's fixed now... just instead of going to the "sport", try searching in the individual event, though still doesn't show properly for table tennis. As I said before, I just hope live results work properly tomorrow
  4. I can certify that the entries for Diving events are incorrect
  5. Well, they did something at least... let's pray for the entries to come later today or tomorrow morning and that there are some live results.
  6. Competition calendar is finally up
  7. Well, at least they give some color & identity to those buildings. I mean no offense, but a Mexican athlete shared that his room has a tin roof.

  9. Mexican Olympic Committee will also have some live streaming on its own event webpage
  10. Except for men's 100m and 200m, kind of a reduced participation, probably because it's rather soon after CAC Games.
  11. They have made some minor modifications to the website, and according to the organizing committee, final entries were submitted on Friday. They're probably just processing that info and running tests on the final schedule/results page. Probably it will be finished between tomorrow and Tuesday.
  12. Interesting that each State of the FS of Micronesia is competing by itself
  13. Very satisfied with Mexico's performance in this edition, Sergio Esquivel's injury aside. This is the first time our athletes manage to win more than one medal, and the fact that they're both gold, it's even better. Hopes new administration retakes the emphasis and support for youth competitors, as it was between 1996-2012.
  14. Yeeeessss!! What a true champion she is Her second world title and in the same year. Finally, after years of poor development, we have a new race walk star. Only dissapointment was that IAAF’s comentators only focused in her in the last 2km... barely even mentioned her before
  15. Well, not the best effort by Hernandez in the long jump. Hopefully Vilches and Gonzalez can obtain a medal tomorrow.
  16. [hide] Knockout Round June 30th - July 15th, 2018 16 Nations, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Third Place Match and Final Third Place Match Date & Time Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 July 14th 2018, h. 17:00 (GMT+3) Belgium 2 0 England Final Date & Time Nation 1 T1 T2 Nation 2 July 15th 2018, h. 18:00 (GMT+3) France 3 1 Croatia [/hide]
  17. Sad about Sergio Esquivel injuring himself after just one hurdle... not only he will be out in the first round but he will likely miss CAC Games as well On a more cheerful note, Susana Hernandez qualified to the Long Jump final, but still far from her PB.
  18. Mexico lost 1-3 to Peru... last set was crazy, with a final score of 34-32
  19. Well I have no doubt that they tried as hard as they could; but this kind of problem has been common in the latest editions of the Games, mainly to sabotage each NOC main rival in the medal count. The only one that has not done so it's Mexico, because this is their only chance to showcase its talents in each sport and event.
  20. Official Mexican Delegation
  21. Mexican Olympic Committee confirmed that 14 events managed to get enough participants to be on the program again. Athletics (4): Men's Marathon, Men's 50km Race Walk, Women's 10,000m, Women's 3,000m Steeplechase Modern Pentathlon (2): Women's Relay & Mixed Relay Rowing (1): Women's Pair Taekwondo - Poomsae (1): Mixed Pairs Weightlifting (6): Men's 77kg Snatch, Men's 77kg Clean & Jerk, Women's 90kg Snatch, Women's 90 Clean & Jerk, Women's +90kg Snatch & Women's +90kg Clean & Jerk. I'm especially glad about Rowing, Pentathlon and Weightlifting; I couldn't care less about Poomsae, but what I will really miss is women's 20km,as our best athlete will miss the Games.

  23. Mexico is also sending a small delegation... however out of 6, 4 of them have good chances of qualifying to the final in their events, among them, Race Walk World Cup winner Alegna Gonzalez in 10km; she's going for another medal, against the same competitors she defeated in May. Let's see if she can produce another magnificent last kilometer
  24. Modern's pentathlon Mixed and Women's Relay are confirmed by the Mexican federation to be "rescued" and back in the Games program. Also, Marca Claro has already announcedin its FB page it will broadcast the Games. Let's hope they show most of the events.
