Team Gushue with a 7-6 loss to Italy and now has a 3-1 record. Had a good chance to score three and end the game in the 10th end but a line call mistake on Gushue’s first gave Italy the opportunity for the double which they took. Back on the ice tomorrow, with games against New Zealand (12:00 AM PST/3:00 AM EST) and United States (10:00 AM PST/1:00 PM EST)

Vic obviously knows more about curling than I do, but I wouldn’t say Switzerland is struggling just yet. I mean sure, they were probably hoping for a better start than a 1-2 record, but their two losses were to heavyweights United States and Sweden. Maybe if they lose to Netherlands yeah…
