  2. CBC Sports has released the Gracenote simulation for projected Canadian medals at Paris 2024. Here’s the first 16 (out of 23) medalists, as the article doesn’t highlight all of them. Gold (6): Christa Deguchi (judo- women’s -57kg), Summer McIntosh (swimming- women’s 400m individual medley), Summer McIntosh (swimming- women’s 200m butterfly), Philip Kim (breaking- b-boys), Marco Arop (athletics- men’s 800m), Pierce LePage (athletics- decathlon) Silver (8): Katie Vincent (canoe sprint- women’s C1-200m), Katie Vincent/Sophia Jensen (canoe sprint- women’s C2-500m), Damian Warner (athletics- decathlon), men’s 4x100m relay (athletics), ?, ?, ?, ? Bronze (9): Women’s eights (rowing), Josh Liendo (swimming- men’s 100m butterfly), Kylie Masse (swimming- women’s 100m backstroke), Maggie MacNeil (swimming- women’s 100m butterfly), Ethan Katzberg (athletics- men’s hammer throw), Sarah Mitton (athletics- women’s shot put), ?, ?, ? Kylie Masse winning bronze in an individual event is optimistic, she’s been well off her times lately, and the second American (behind Smith) is likely to out-touch her. Don’t see us winning any medals in rowing either, with the way things have been going with Rowing Canada. There’s one medal contender that I’m surprised isn’t on the list however, I think they’re underestimating our women’s 3x3 basketball team.
  3. Here’s my day by day schedule for this week: Again these times could be a bit off. Great prep for Paris where I’ll be switching between approximately 15 streams all at once I don’t know how I do it to be honest. I’m normally tired when I wake up (not really a good thing), as my sports schedule is quite packed, but I’d rather get less sleep than miss out on some of my favourite events live (not recommending it though) February 8 1:00- 2:25 AM: Doha 2024 World Aquatic Championships- Women’s Waterpolo Group Stage - Canada v. 4. I guess I’m in the minority here. Don’t think the mascot looks as great as people are saying. Feel like whoever designed it could’ve made it way more detailed, like previous editions. Not that that’s going to stop me from buying one
  5. Live stream for the Meeting Mondeville (WA Indoor Tour Silver) in Mondeville, France! https://www.facebook.com/EuropeanAthletics Live Results
  6. and both fail to qualify
  7. Women’s 3m Synchro Springboard Quotas: No words… absolute disaster from a Canadian point of view. Could’ve been in contention for a medal come Paris, but instead we don’t even qualify Pamela Ware had a horrible, horrible, day capped off by a failed dive in the final round. Shame it had to come on a day with Olympic qualification on the line.
  8. Eric Hedlin with a 11th place finish in men’s 5km open water! Wow!
  9. Ugh. Yet another bad result during the Olympic qualification period. We could’ve contended for medals at Paris, and now we’re not even going to qualify
  10. Pamela Ware having herself an off day.
  11. Bad second round dive for Mia Vallee/Pamela Ware, can’t afford any mistakes from now on if they want to secure an Olympic quota.
  12. Pretty much, although only scores from finals count towards Olympic qualification.
  13. @JoshMartini007 Great work! One thing though, what led you to pick T.J Short for ? Ahmad Magomedov has had a better 2023 than him IMO.
  14. @hckošice where was Juraj Slavkovsky in the rankings?
