So, we're giving up on Brignone already too?
Hard to get excited for the women's World Cup when you know the overall winner four races into the season. As if years of Hirscher winning the men's overall by default wasn't enough

Nobody's gonna feel sorry for the Norwegian Evil Empire to miss out on some victories. Like NOBODY

Raising the competitive age solves nothing. You'd still take up figure skating at age 4 or 5 to begin with. Herein lies the problem. Physical injuries always take their toll more on a sport you have to start very early to ever stand a chance. You can't take up figure skating at 10 if you want to be a competitive pro. Raising the age won't stop having career-ending back injuries at age 21 instead of 19 for instance
Anorexia? Geez, what else is new. Good thing USA sucks at ski jumping or else we'd here more bullshit like that given how strict BMI in ski jumping is
But thankfully USA, France and UK don't care about ski jumping so we can have anorexia over there!
Of course this push makes a whole lot political sense if the Western Europe & USA want to influence the Russian dominance of the sport. I'd laugh my ass off if this somehow gets approved and 17 year old Russians still kick the 17 year old Americans & French all over the ice rink

Poor
Ieva Puce finished 103rd out of 104 with a 10/10 shooting. That's like really bad!
Latvians can't wait to have Baiba Bendika back?

Norway controls FIS already. Do they really have to control ISU as well? Hell no. Name me ONE Norwegian figure skater not named Sonja Henie who won a World Championship gold medal
I'm pretty sure they will be put back to their place and rightfully so. Norway in figure skating doesn't mean anything. It's like Romania or Poland trying to tell USA how the baseball World Series should be run

Fittipaldi is the official Haas reserve driver, I guess have they contractual obligations to him?
And Callum Ilott is busy with the F2 finale next weekend as well. But for this, it would be a coin-flip who replaces Grosjean tbh.

I'm curious why the barrier that came after that wasn't just made longer. Of course it's easy to say that now, but why have this diagonal thing there anyway?
Because the barrier is after the exit of the corner. It's not like Grosjean crashed coming out of the corner, he basically chopped across Kvyat on the straight already. Nobody expects a head-on crashes on the straights.

Also points for

The only thing missing is one of Chois for Korea

Suspected broken ribs for Grosjean. Plus some burns; he really sat long in the cockpit. Or half-cockpit to be exact.
-
Yeah, the car pierced the barrier and got ripped in half. That would have been fatal in the 70s.

Colombo misses out by 0,4 secs so Kinga Zbylut will score the final point in 40th.
Hojnisz 31st, Zuk 36th. A small bounce back for
after yesterday's disaster.

Tomingas 7th! Well done
Only two places behind Eveli Saue's
PB.

Tuuli Tomingas really should get that expected air time considering she's tied for 7th after shooting 1 with nearly three quarters of the field having passed there.
And she got some air time indeed. Maybe a shocking Top 10 for
?

Hanna Oeberg over 20 secs faster than Olsbu! That's your winner.
-
Herrmann blows it, 3 misses.
-
Olsbu 10/10. Let's see if Herrmann matches that.
-
Vittozzi 10/10 but 25 secs off Skottheim.
-
Hojnisz dead last on the first split. Skiing form wanted!
-
I believe Ingemar Stenmark would be offended by the flag next to his name

Look at it that way, there's finally something that proved superior to Norway's TUE excuse!
That's one positive COVID impact out there!
