  1. Yeah, I have no idea why Germany has such huge depth issues in biathlon. Other than Army cutting down fundings which would be strange since biathlon is like very popular in Germany. The Horchlers becoming full-time World Cup starters at age 30 was the first strike, they're gone and we have Anna Weidel shooting 10/10 and finishing 49th in Oberhof which is basement level tbh. Hammerschmidt was always #5 or 6 at best, below relay-worthy but without the top performers she's like a stable number 4 now. Herrmann will turn 33 IIRC, Hinz keeps blowing hot & cold and there's only Preuss that has improved after Dahlmeier's retirement. It doesn't look good at all.

Over on the men's side there are Doll and Peiffer and well, Kuehn tends to do well from time to time and that would be it. What's up with Nawrath is anyone's guess and Schempp has succumbed to age.

Maybe he should stop trying so hard to be hated. His attitude is disgusting and disgraceful. I used to support him because his father is Greek born in Greece but no thank you. This guy is an embarrassment to all Greeks worldwide with his childish behaviors.

Well, Hewitt pushed the envelope but he actually won some GS then came Tomic and things went sideways fast. Kyrgios seems to thrive on his enfant terrible image ever since the Donna Vekic comments BUT unlike Monfils who kinda went up with the clown show himself, nobody seems to find Kyrgios' antics funny at all.

Thanks, what a surprising result. Never heard of Brown before and tought that Desthieux already retired. How old is that guy?

Desthieux turned 29 yo in December. He's not that old. Actually the fact Jacquelin was the defending pursuit champion enabled France to field 5 men in the sprint. Polish ES argued if they could only field four then Desthieux would have been the odd man out.

    Who won the medals?

Also Peiffer and Lesser should retire on the spot. I can’t believe how far behind German athletes are in skiing. They only chance for them to win a medal would be if at least 8 out of the top 10 guys miss at least 2 more targets than them.

Yeah, Lesser finished behind Guzik with the same number of misses. I'd never thought I'll see a day when Germany fields a guy who is skiing slower than Guzik :p
