That's due to Verstappen's 5 DNFs compared to Bottas one. On pace alone Bottas is no match for Verstappen and everyone knows it.

My Raiders barely escape the 0-11 Jets with a last second Hail Mary-like Henry Ruggs TD. However it seemed like Jets simply tanked that play away to make sure they don't lose on the #1 draft pick. They dropped back only three players in coverage when usually teams drop like 7 or 8 to make sure the deep throw gets neutralized.

If Red Bull somehow picks Perez over Albon I believe Mercedes could do an 11th hour buyout of Russell's Williams contract and kick Bottas out.

Bottas hasn't cost Mercedes the constructors title because Albon has sucked even more than him (and Gasly before too) but with Perez in the second Red Bull things could be too close for comfort.
