Vlhova rides her luck again

Vlhova wins on the last two gates again.

Brignone had a horrible start but still reeled Vlhova in.

Hand of God served the British colonialist ghosts really well. Days when UK told half of the world what to do are long over and Maradona stuck a fork in them for sure. Shows you what impact this game had and how England got pantsed on worldwide stage for once

W sumie medaliści reprezentowali 19 państw, a startowało w sumie 76 państw.
To jeszcze pozostałości z czasów zimnej wojny i rywalizacji z ZSRR. A teraz?

A tymczasem Brytyjczycy, Francuzi, Rosjanie, Amerykanie i wielu innych zwyczajnie nam uciekło.
Ciągnąć wózek będą demoludy i były ZSRR.

Remy will always be Wayne's son tbh. Unless he wins MotoGP title? I seriously doubt that happens tbh.
Good to see Enea Bastianini winning the title, he's one of the quiet guys on the circuit.
Now let's see how Yamaha screws up the joint one last time in MotoGP! Oliveira FTW!
-
One down, one to go. Bastianini has 14 points advantage so he can manage the gap in slightly less unpredictable Moto2 field.

Pohjolainen -0.46 at first split today!
Makes the 2nd run this time though.
Told ya, she was 0,02 behind Vlhova at half-way yesterday before crashing out but someone - some Croatian dude
- said it's down to the first part being flat so everyone can look fast there
-
If there are no globes some big names would just skip races on purpose IMO. The money isn't that big to risk a serious injury. The big names earn more through endorsements either way.
-
Vlhova wins by 0,18. I can only wonder if Liensberger can spoil the season-long ineviteable 1-2?
-
Irene Curtoni doesn't look pleased with her run
-
Rosa Pohjolainen was only 0,02 behind Vlhova at half-way but crashed out before the third split
-
Dubovska sniffing a Top 10?
-
Hedvig Karakas wins gold? That's one name I thought has crossed the river already.
This Sterpu guy I hear might be the next best thing in European judo?

we really do not have much world or even europe class athletes, summer or winter sports combined, so, it is understandable that we protect and "pamper" our only jewel.
but yeah she must face also so big pressure and responsibility on her shoulder, that is really insane for a still so young girl
Other than Vlhova and Sagan you probably don't have a world class athlete since Hamsik is kinda enjoying a semi-retirement in the Gulf. And canoeing doesn't really count in the global picture
25 years old is prime age rather than "young"

Yep, Vlhová´s journey in the WC is obviously one of the RTVS priorities, so we have all the informations from first hand
Thoma the Italian coach of the
team was tested positive, and since the new FIS Covid-19 protocole forbids the whole team to compete in the stage if one of the given team (athlete or coach or even supporting staff) was positive.
This started a war, Brignone or even Pinturault already have loudly opposed this protocol and are calling for an change of this rule before the next stage. FIS in the other side argue that no team was opposed when this decision was approved during the last meeting.
BTW: If you are interested about some news From Petra camp, she has a new private plane this season only for her and her team, which will transport them between the individual resorts.
Yeah, I tuned in half-way through Vlhova's ES interview and she said it's been three weeks without her team which makes Swenn Larsson's coach positive test even more silly. I suppose Slovakia's entire winter sports rests on the shoulder of one woman
-
Yeah, Arenas, Ogura, Fernandez, Arbolino, Vietti and Baltus all move up to Moto2 next season. That's the biggest group moving up I can remember in recent years.
I wonder what happens with Nagashima? Will he go back to SAG Team?

our reporter claims otherwise. Only the coach was reportedly positive. Swenn-Larson was not allowed to race only on the basis of the new covid-19 protocol, despite the fact that she had 5 negative tests in the last 10 days.
I suppose your Slovakian is better than my Italian
One has to say this looks like a backlash from the Swedish covid strategy that looks totally misguided with every week.
It seems like another Shiffrin vs Vlhova battle but Liensberger only 0.52 behind.
-
Shiffrin had one small wobble but Holdener still a full second behind her
-
I watched Rai Sport this morning and it looks like Anna Swenn-Larsson is the one who tested positive.
Chiara Mair gets bib #7 in the top group
Resi Stiegler is back on the World Cup for the first time since March 2019.

I have to say Bagnaia in the works team has failure written all over it. He crashes too often and has choked away podiums & wins this season already - and that was without being on the 'A' team pressure.
Rossi should just retire and focus on running his own team. He's not beating Agostini's overall win record no matter what he does now.
