  1. I offer my congratulations to @Cobi on Spain's win and to @OlympicIRL, @Cinnamon Bun and @Quasit on their medals. I want to thank everyone who voted for Greece, I'm glad you liked our song. Also, thank you to our teammates in Gyor Rivers who helped us earn a 4th place in the team event. We were close to a medal there, but 4th place is a great result. And of course, a huge thank thank you to @Vektor who hosted a great contest throughout. This is how I voted. I can say I voted for all top three songs, but as I was the only one in our jury who voted for Spain and Ireland, my points were not enough for these songs to receive any points from Greece.   3. Hey beautiful people, i am very disappointed, that i had to miss the contest, but something unexpected came up this past week. And it was another fantastic and enjoyable contest by the looks of things. Spain with a commanding win to my biggest pleasure, as it's probably the country to which i have given the most points in all of my participations. There is always something to their songs, that resonates with my taste. Well deserved win for @Cobi and very much looking forward to his hosting next time. Also, big applauses for @Vektor for his tireless work these past few months, from stepping up hosting, to organizing and executing the contest perfectly. Great effort from my team members @OlympicIRL @Griff88 and @Illya on getting a bronze medal. Especially after stumbling in the first round, that was some fight through the repechage rounds! The historians will speak on this, but i think this may be the first time i get a medal in the music contests And finally, but not least, big Thank You to everyone who enjoyed and/or voted for the BG song. Congrats to Spain for the victory! @Vektorthanks for the organization and the beautiful descriptions of your country: this contest and the Giro's start gave me the chance to discover lots of things beyond the beautiful Budapest and Balaton Lake (famous for the open water swimming competitions). The only thing that bothers me is that in Italy only two public library have Egri csillagok in Italian and you can't even buy it because it's out of print, but I have found an ebook version in English on Amazon so maybe in the future I'll buy it. I was really impressed by the fact that everyone in Hungary has read it, in Italy everyone studies at school (and at least knows something about) Promessi Sposi by Alessandro Manzoni (the best Italian novel) and Commedia by Dante Alighieri (one of the most important poem in the world literature) but very few people have really read them from the beginning to the end.

LOL at us finishing 31st with 56 points, but honestly, I thought a song like ours would work for this contest since you love it so much, but boy did we overestimated ourselves And congrats @Vektor on hosting the show.   11. As I said during the first session, I came to this edition without any expectations. The most popular songs in Spain right now are not very interesting and I wanted to show something different of the Spanish culture. After searching for a while, I decided to go with a folk song in Galician, one of our three official regional languages (Galego, Català and Euskera/Basque) that was very close to represent us in Eurovision this year. To be honest I did not think this kind of music would be that appealing, but I am very happy with the result. I've already booked my trip with a tour operator- I'm hoping to go on similar dates as CCB above. My dream itinerary: Wednesday 24th- handball (I'd be flying in from Toronto Tuesday night and wouldn't have a room in Paris until Thursday) Thursday- non-sports activity (I was thinking the show at the Moulin Rouge- any suggestions welcome, though) Friday- opening ceremony on the Seine Saturday- tennis and boxing Sunday- beach volleyball and swimming Monday- diving, rugby and badminton Any advice for trip planning from people who have been to the Games and/or Paris would be appreciated.

Freshly promoted and Bids for the 2023 World Championship Hungary won the brotherly cross-border clash with Romania 4-2 on the last day at the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division I Group A. The result didn’t change much in the standings as it became already clear yesterday evening that Hungary would finish in second place while Romania would remain in last place and be relegated. Media representatives at the Tivoli Hall were therefore more interested in what the ice hockey associations of Hungary and Slovenia announced after the game. Hungary and Slovenia, both promoted to the top division as the top-two ranked teams here, announced a joint bid for the 2023 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship that was originally planned in St. Petersburg, Russia. The bid was presented under the motto “extreme circumstances require extreme decisions”. Since the countries have a tough time to bid for the tournament years in advance as “elevator teams” that move up and down between the top level and the Division I, they want to seize the chance with the 2023 edition to be reassigned just one year in advance and both teams being qualified. The bid includes the original game days of 5-21 May 2023. The two countries bid with the brand-new MVM Dome in Budapest as the venue for one preliminary-round group, two quarter-finals, both semi-finals and both medal games. The arena was opened last December and hosted the 2022 EHF European Men’s Handball Championship with a capacity of 19,182 spectators in an ice hockey configuration. Slovenia’s venue would be Arena Stozice, which hosted the 2012 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Division I Group A with up to 10,500 fans filling the venue at that time. It would host the other preliminary-round group and two quarter-final games. Hungary has never hosted a top-level men’s World Ice Hockey Championship but Budapest staged the top-level U18 Women’s Worlds in 2014. Slovenia’s capital of Ljubljana was host of the 1966 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. The event took place with three tournaments in former Yugoslavia with Ljubljana hosting the top division, Zagreb the B-Pool and Jesenice the C-Pool.

Hossa is already a legend and not only of Slovak but also world hockey, there is a reason why he was already added to the both IIHF Hall of Fame and also the NHL hall of Fame which is something not easy to achieve for an european , especially at his age However, Apart the already mentioned names I would also add Žigmund Pálffy to this list, He was probably the most skilled slovak player ever. Not the brightest guy on earth but with some hell of golden hands

  30. Spain 12 My first TISC participation was the 2019 Open contest and guess what TISC meme originated from that contest? I guess the prophecy was right, Spain had to win the contest which was hosted by me. Joking aside, Spain collected 160 points, 4 x 12 pts from , 1 x 11 pts from and 3 x 10 pts from . There are no questions about which was the strongest nation of this contest. I would like to congratulate @Cobi, Spain was long overdue for this kind of success in TISC. And now we shall end the contest the way every song contest should, with the winning song.   33. Interesting contest Firstly: congratulations to @Vektor for one of if not the most technically executed contests, it was super easy and entertaining to follow, very smooth grand final. Congratulations to Spain for their first ever win and to Ireland and Great Britain for their continuous success in these contests to land on a podium yet again. Congratulations to our team, we did it @Agger @Wumo @catgamer @Glen I think it's very fun to share this victory with you since our team is pretty much comprised of the OG's that have been with TISC since the very beginning As for Lithuania, well 14th place is not bad, sad we didn't hit the 100 points, many jurors liked the Lithuanian song, but nobody loved it. I thought that I wouldn't enter a Gebrasy song again, but it's nearly three years since I'm working with my new producer and best friend Faustas and I just wanted to showcase something from that part of my life, though the biggest pain was deciding between "Where'd You Wanna Go?" and "Into Your Arms", though I'll never find out which would've been a correct decision We'll continue to release new music and we're already working on a single for Summer, it's going to be in Lithuanian, I gladly invite you to follow our journey, but for TISC, I think I'll much rather prefer to highlight other artists in our music scene.
