thepharoah 2,405 Posted September 8, 2021 #634 Share Posted September 8, 2021 That's too unfair and they wouldn't have dare to take such such decision if it was USA or GB or Germany or any other big country, in a world wide epidemic u can't force anyone to participate in a very crowded OG Ted 1 Link to comment https://totallympics.com/forums/topic/1980-international-olympic-committee-news/page/64/#findComment-419197 Share on other sites

Vic Liu 1,686 Posted September 9, 2021 #636 Share Posted September 9, 2021 So does it mean that North Korea is banned to participate Beijing 2022? Actually many North Korean live in Beijing and they don't have to travel or quarantine, some of them can participate if granted wild card. opruh and Ted 2 Link to comment https://totallympics.com/forums/topic/1980-international-olympic-committee-news/page/64/#findComment-419205 Share on other sites
opruh 129 Posted September 9, 2021 #637 Share Posted September 9, 2021 A country is banned for taking precautions against a pandemic. Meanwhile other like the USA is free to drone strike kids in Afghanistan without any repercussions. However, lets be real, chance to qualify is almost inexistant, so no one will really notice. The punishment is mainly about IOC financial support which will be cut during the ban period Ted 1 Link to comment https://totallympics.com/forums/topic/1980-international-olympic-committee-news/page/64/#findComment-419239 Share on other sites
