I'm sure that there must be a long explanation this. But then again, the greatest voice of this century in my opinion was from Amy Winehouse. This alone makes me question how race can be a factor when it comes to a great voice.

Not saying that black people have the best voices, just saying that they're voices are a perfect fit for backing vocals, due to vocal range, blending and depth.

I really miss Amy Winehouse :( It happened so long ago now, it seems like forever ago, but I still remember being devastated, because I listened a lot to her and was eagerly waiting for more albums.

When your song isn't great, just add more fire.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

I would bet if John Lundvik would take of his shirt you would see it.

Or maybe it's just me dreaming about it?:p (I should probably stop drinking more Gin and tonic)

No thanks, I'll wait for another athlete

Yeah. Wasn't selected. Not the first time a song was sent to Melodifestivalen but ended up in another country (we've had a few of those in Denmark as well)

and a hundred of those in Lithuania

That Belarussian girl could be the little sister of a girl who I've had way too many beers with the last few years. They look rather similar.

This has the potential for more stories while we're waiting.

Interesting, I didn't even know it was possible for entries to appear in one national competition and then represent another nation. I like this one though, but like i said, it's not popular amongst the general public. By the way, the UK going with a rejected song from another nation's selection process... that just says it all really.

I don't find it weird, bad or anything to think different 'sets' of genes may have slightly different qualities.

I'm not saying genetics is bullshit, it's just that I believe there are many other factors that could be more important than genetics when we try to explain the differences between people.
