I dont see medal chances for other countries. Lithuania is the biggest negative surprise here. Or maybe Im wrong and Lithuania have any chance left? It's looking very good seeing as for example Armenia or Kenya are still to join. Speaking of distribution, the US had twice as many golds in Rio (24-18-19) than the second-placed Chinese team (12-11-17). The current Top 3 are finding themselves much closer together than five years ago ( with 10-13-7 in Rio). We might see Japan slowing down a bit with judo finished, although women's wrestling is next. The Taiwanese badminton gold already guarantees them their best performance ever (2-2-1 in Athens 2004). 4th place counter* (18) (13) (12) (10) (9) (8) (7) (6) (5) (4) (3) (2) (1) and the Refugee Olympic Team *5th places in events that award two bronze medals; also includes QF losers in boxing thiago_simoes and Gianlu33 2 Stopped watching sports, there are better things in life.
