Recommended Posts

No quotas given in Qatar, meaning 2 more quotas reallocate to the mixed doubles world ranking (5 now)

Balažová/Pištej are apparently officially qualified.

They are currently 7th in the olympic ranking, 2nd among the non-qualified countries, Since the Japan open is cancelled, there mathematically no chance now they will be overtaken by 5 pairs from the non-qualified countries anymore (6 pairs will qualify via ranking) :KOR and :AUT secured the quotas too

Canada has announced its men's single competitor: Jeremy Hazin.

I am not sure I understand the system correctly. Canada also qualified in mixed doubles (two different athletes), so now Canada has 3 quotas in table tennis, but is that a possibility?
