  1. Bolsonaro expected to win in first round. We're doomed.
  2. What a bad tournament for Turkey! And suddenly things are looking quite good for Russia.
  3. The torch is good, the flame didn't extinguish even with all the wind
  4. This seems to be a great live experience, but in TV it doesn't look so great as one would hope.
  5. The whole thing is supposed to be under 2 hours, which would also be the quickest opening ceremony?

  7. Well, I don't think many brazilians follow this forum anyway, so I can share (also, Im pretty sure the brazilians here also don't like the leading candidate)
  8. I'm voting for Ciro Gomes, I like him and I think he's the only candidate who can stop he who must not be named (at least according to polls).
  9. At least they're not extremists - and I hate Temer and won't vote for Haddad unless he's up against Bonosaur.
  10. I called you pessimistic on another topic but here you're too far optimistic. His rejection rate was huge and is decreasing by the day, the same way his voting numbers are increasing (according to polls, he has more than 40% of valid votes in first round). I don't think he'll win this Sunday (although there is a possibility), but I think no one can stop him three weeks from now.
  11. Also, on a topic regarding this forum, he is the only major candidate that doesn't include sports in his political program. We know brazilian athletes already suffer as it is, if he wins we can kiss goodbye the investments made in this area.
  12. Extremely disheartening to see this here. This man is the worst thing that could ever happen to Brazil - if you guys think Trump is unreasonable sometimes, you should see this person talk for 5 minutes. I fear for my friends in case he's elected (which is very much the most likely scenario right now). Also, it's a little ironic that you're (apparently) supporting an extremist when you have said plenty of times that extremism is bad in any form. I guess that only works for the far-left then?
  13. You're so pessimistic lol From the images I see, most of the venues look good, even beautiful! In some cases the city does all the work . Also, the opening ceremony was a great idea for this particular event and I'm sad I won't be able to be there (that's why I'm also sad about the closing ceremony not being held, but it isn't a great loss). Anyway, I have good expectations for the one week I'm gonna stay in BA.
  14. Brazil team at the Rio Olympic Park. Good luck to our athletes Our flagbearer will be the grandson of Servílio de Oliveira, first brazilian Olympic medallist in Boxing.
  15. Qualification event for the 2019 Pan American Games. 4 slots as follows:
  16. Brazil's score in the 5 Hoops final was the biggest ever by a pan american nation
  17. I still think Brazil has one chance do qualify female athletes because they didn't participate at the South American Games. So they probably chose this and the "PABCON Champion of Champions" as qualifying competitions
  18. Para quem estiver interessado nos Jogos Olímpicos da Juventude, o SporTV 3 terá programação diária dedicada a diversos eventos (em especial aqueles que têm participação dos brasileiros).
  19. Nice! I think Brazil can have great results in winter para sports in the future.
