  1. Fairly sure you're right, but I wonder if it was before or after the Totallympics crash.. Tom Goegebuer maybe? @Tom The name and country and sport fit, but not at all the day of birth
  2. Wow, this Italy was a lot less impressive than the little boring but very solid Italy of the group stage...
  3. For what it's worth, Dutch singles players have to be in the top-20 of 15 June's 'BWF Race to Tokyo' ranking in order to be selected.
  4. Ouch, big hit for the fairytale Now suddenly every small hit will result in a minute-long injury for an Italian
  5. Alright, time to breathe a little
  6. That was no penalty at all.
  7. Aaaaaand offside Total Arnautovic meltdown in 3, 2...
  8. There is a men's softball circuit?
  9. Damn, that could have gone horribly wrong for Baumgartner in that hit from Donnarumma....
  10. Two stages with potential for a lot of fun in the first two days, there have been a lot of worse Tour starts
  11. Although normally it's because of extremely nervous riding by the peloton instead of some empty-headed lunatic
  12. Highlight of the knockout round already
  13. I know admittedly little about Asian music, but doesn't especially the beginning give off a rather Chinese vibe? Like usual with these things it sounds very generic but like usual as well I know I'll have it stuck in my head and am enjoying it within a month
  14. Martin and Woods, I assume? The rest seems to have mostly been there because they needed a team of eight to be allowed to start
  15. That was seriously impressive by Alaphilippe!
  16. Wow, that was massive. And also much worse in terms of damage..
  17. Yeah good point Should have said "when you're standing on the side of the road where a peloton is about to pass"
  18. Apparently it was a woman And yeah, also forgot rule number one when going to watch cycling: face the freaking peloton so you see them coming.
  19. Cycling is one of the few sports which was, at least in some places and moments, actually better during the pandemic restrictions.
  20. Wow, some fucking idiot 'fan' with some idiotic cardboard sign makes nearly literally half the peloton crash, including some bad ones Absolute idiot, I hope he/she (couldn't see) will face the consequences...
  21. Plus the first fall coming after 2km already, because they thought it'd be a good idea to have a fairly high-speed corner filled with a boatload of 'road furniture'
  22. Ethical things semi-wrongfully being called politics Bigger than all of this though: no Mobot in Tokyo, waiting for BBC to pull the plug on the entire Olympics
  23. Also not likely to be true, depending on the definition of a tornado As far as I know, there's usually sort of a minimum wind speed required for it to officially be called a tornado and that's barely ever happening here, certainly not multiple times each year. The last one that actually made to the news was in Amsterdam in 2019, but wasn't really a tornado, more like a local and fairly small whirlwind with speeds of under 100 km/h.
  24. And immediately it's such a monster...wind speeds of over 300 kilometers per hour and as you could see in the video, strong, brick walls just ripped apart like a piece of paper.
