  1. The latest I've found is that they haven't decided yet.
  2. Haven't they pretty much hosted anything possible? Except the Olympics, of course!
  3. I cannot believe that we have a World Champion in women's cycling!
  4. As it is for the lips, it could easily end up in the mouth. That is indeed interesting and really means that at least the team doctor should be fired. Apparently it's part of the national team contract that skiers must accept whatever medicaments the doctor tells them to take.
  5. Therese Johaug tested positive. Apparently she got the illegal substance (clostebol) due to a creme used for healing minor wounds. The national team doctor has taken the blame.
  6. Here we go with the no-names again (not meaning I'm satisfied with the conditions in Doha)
  7. Would seem like it was more than just the mechanical problem for Mads. Is it a German triple on the way?
  8. I'm guessing we'll see something like this from him:
  9. With that theory, Denmark should be quite a water polo nation (handball powerhouse and pretty good swimming nation)
  10. We're up against Switzerland... Should be an easy qualification!
  11. It's called tempo race in the official schedule and I saw it on wiki as well
  12. Even though it would be more or less perfect for Lasse Norman, I find that kind of omnium sad. Having a tempo race is fine with me, as I guess that's an entertaining high paced alternative, but making it 3 time trials and one mass start would take out the idea of both good time trialists and good mass starters having a good chance. That's even worse. No time trials at all (also, I believe it's called tempo race )
  13. After an impressive finish by the spanish pair, the foursomes ended up with 2½ for Europe and 1½ for USA. Sadly USA won 3 very close four-balls meaning they are up by 3 going into the finishing singles. This means that USA only needs to win 5 of the 12 singles. Not as big a lead as 2012 when Europe pulled of a huge comeback. The 3 first singles will be very important. McIlroy who has been Europe's best player is up against Reed who has been one of the 2 best US players; Stenson who played brilliant golf in the afternoon fourballs on friday but not as good the rest of the time up against Spieth. They've already been up against eachother 3 times during this Ryder cup with 2 wins for Spieth and one for Stenson. And the 3rd with Pieters who lost the first foursome by a great margin but won the other 3 with McIlroy. He will be up against J.B. Holmes who didn't play the two foursomes. It will be close, but sadly I think the cup will go to USA for the first time since 2008.
  14. The Ryder Cup is looking like a close race this year. After a terrible start for Europe losing 4-0 in the first foursomes they won 3 out of 4 four-balls. At the moment it's 2 foursomes for each, but match 2 between Snedeker/Koepka vs. Stenson/Fitzpatrick is very close. Later today we will have 4 four-balls before it finishes with 12 singles.
  15. Russia? That terribly unoriginal song that sounded like something we've heard 100 times before...
