  1. DENMARK After a long time considering, Denmark has a song! It was hard to let go But I closed my eyes in the end And disappeared into your game But now you have forgotten to play it with me whoa It took time To put down my defence, yeah And now you say that I should go But where the heck do you go, when you can't go home whoa I have lain down with you You are right about everything you said But anyone could say that shit I want to hear from your mouth What it is that suddenly disappeared Now you sit there with your gaze strong determined that we are over And now you say that I should go But where the heck do you go, when you can't go home Whoa, yeah where the heck do I go when I can't go home to you? whoauåuåuåu whoa where the heck do I go when I can't go home whoa And now you say that I should go(whoa) but where the heck do I go when I can't go home whoa yeah, where the heck do I go when I can't go home whoa where the heck do I go when I can't go home whoa yeah where the heck do I go when I can't go home to you? whoa (home to you) whoa home to you (whoa) home to you (whoa)
  2. There are without doubt both pros and cons about this potential decision. Pros: Time to reconsider the bidding structure (sure, we still have winter Olympics, but it's still one less) Time for potential bidders to actually be sure they want to bid. We have had more than enough bidders withdrawing after at some level announcing a bid. Two strong bidding countries who may not bid for the Olympics 2028 if losing, will get it. Not risking another bid round ending up with only 2 bidders. That really doesn't help the image of the Games and even more the perception from the public (though of course the costs in general means more than that) Cons: Risk of 2028 hosts withdrawing (that is without doubt easier when the Olympics are a little less than 11 years in the future)(I doubt that USA would withdraw, but I'm not quite as sure about France given the sometimes worrying situation) Potentially missing interesting bids for 2028 (of which you have mentioned some fine ones) Is it fair towards potential bidders for 2028? What will future bidders ending up as second think? I'm sure there are more, but those were the ones I could think of right now.
  3. TEAM DENMARK Belgrade 2017 Men´s Kristoffer Hari (60m) Benjamin Lobo Vedel (400m) Andreas Bube (800m) Andreas Martinsen (60m Hurdles) Women´s Sara Slott Petersen (400m) Stina Troest (800m)
  4. I am very well aware that changes can be made. But this song is nonetheless live. We can expect them to be close to this, and there really isn't much that I like about the song (though it would help, if they cut that terrible violin)
  5. Making a post, tagging the users who are yet to select, should be enough.
  6. I could actually cheer for the Ukrainian song, if the lead singer could sing. Not a bad song. About the Moldovian song, I agree with Gianlu33. Anja was in my top 3, but not my favourite. With the field so far, it's fighting with France for the top spot.
  7. Seems like Kalla is the only Swedish skier in shape (Stina isn't too bad, but not at her best)
  8. See if you can find TV2 sport (Denmark). They're still broadcasting
  9. Let's go, Martin (and the other 2 Danes who'll start within 10 minutes)
  10. Terrible production without the times for most skiers!
  11. And now we're just waiting for the Lebanese girls!
  12. Seems like she has been called back!
  13. The recomendations are now official. http://www.issf-sports.org/news.ashx?newsid=2731 I am personally not against cutting trap, but very much against the decisions on pistol and rifle events. I would prefer what the Danish shooting Union prefered. http://skytteunion.dk/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/ISSF_program_proposal_Tokyo2020.pdf In short it was: Cut double trap, and give more quotas for the other shotgun events. Make 50m rifle prone mixed gender Cut 25m rapid fire pistol and make a mixed gender 25m standard piston (though I like the rapid fire pistol, it's the smallest of the pistol events)
  14. That's kind of the one good thing in Budapest withdrawing their bid. If they did it with Budapest still in the game, it would be a scandal. Now it's defendable with 2 bid rounds in a row with only 2 cities. But of course some cities considering/planning to bid for the 2028 Games would be let down.
  15. I wouldn't be surprised if the hosts for both 2024 and 2028 are selected in september, and to some extent I could see the good things in that idea, though it surely has downsides as well.
  16. A great race by the Danes. Now it's the waiting game!
  17. You would expect the Danish commentators to know what danes are starting, but know. They keep on confusing the Hulgaard brothers!
  18. I wonder when was the last time 2 Danes were in front at a split time in any other race than the Danish Championships! Edit: Just as I wrote that, Bajoravicius and Birgisson were better
