  1. it's the home of Japanese Martial Arts (especially, Judo and Karate)... Sumo is not played there... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nippon_Budokan
  2. thanks a lot...this is really great... probably, I wanted to know about huste too early and the games were not uploaded yet at that time (I checked on Monday)... p.s. now I know STV's schedule very well after all these years following them...
  3. love the sweet one... I'd love also the salty one, if only there was no cheese (I hate it, any type and in any form...and I don't eat anything that has even the smallest amount of cheese in/on it, with a couple of notable exceptions...ravioli/tortellini -but only those filled mainly with meat or ham, no way I can eat those with cheese and vegetables like ricotta & spinaci or so- and Tiramisu)...
  4. NED won also the game vs GBR (10-2 the final score), stopped because of darkness on day #1... meanwhile CZE are thrashing GER out (9-2 in the top of the 6th)... if we take for granted the Czech win, the final outcome of the groups in stage #1 is going to look like this: Group A Netherlands, 4W - 1L Israel, 4W - 1L Czech Republic, 3W - 2L Germany, 2W - 3L Great Britain, 2W - 3L Sweden, 0W - 5L Group B Italy, 5W - 0L Spain, 4W - 1L France, 3W - 2L Belgium, 2W - 3L Austria, 1W - 4L Croatia, 0W - 5L therefore the Quarterfinals should feature the following pairings... NED vs BEL and ESP vs CZE in the top half of the draw ITA vs GER and ISR vs FRA in the bottom half of the draw as a consequence, most likely NED vs ESP and ITA vs ISR are oing to be the semifinals... on the other hand, should GER comeback and win tonight's game, they would end up 3rd in the group (and face Spain in the QTRs) meanwhile the Czechs would be 5th in the group and eliminated from the medal round...and GBR would be 4th in the group and face ITA in the QTRs... however, this wouldn't have much impact on the possible semifinals, as I think they're quite locked in any case...
  5. p.s. I gave a look to the huste.sk website...it looks that they're not going to stream the Extraliga anymore... other than the STV matches, do you know if (and in case where) the other games are going to be available (for free, with or without VPN it doesn't matter)?
  6. here in Italy basically every place has its own traditional bread...some places, even more than one type... and especially in the big cities we can also easily find all kinds of ethnic shops, with all of their traditional products, bread included... personally, together with some typical Italian types, I love what we (in Northern Italy, I mean) usually call (improperly, as I guess in Egypt there are many different types of bread as in most Countries) the "Egyptian bread"...
  7. great! good luck to your team... surely tomorrow I'm gonna watch both the Slovak and the Czech opening games (sad that they are basically at the same time)... however, this is a great weekend, with all the major European leagues starting (other than the KHL, which is already well underway)...I hope it's gonna be an entertaining season all around...

  14. it's so sad, but you're absolutely right...
  15. just 1 thing...in your doc, Benin's skater has Family name and given name inverted...Georges is the given name, Agonkouin is the Family name...
  16. meh...I don't think Italy have been so impressive... sure, they won 4 games out of 4, but their offense is at least suspect...they were almost shootout by Croatia (not the USA or Japan) and they scored most of their runs only in the final innings against weak relief pitchers... the positive side ionstead is pitching...I expected our pitchers to make disasaters and instead until now they've been quite good...hopefully they can repeat themselves also when it really matters... however I think that most of the top teams are still hiding themselves, as they have to play the OQT just after the end of the Europeans (here they only need to make the top 5)...
  17. of course they based their sentence on the facts as they were presented by iaaf anti-doping committee, but the fact that they refused to give a hearing to Schwazer's lawyer and didn't even try to look/hear at any sort of discharging document/testimony and with all the suspicious actions made by those who promoted the accusation claimed by the defending part, their job is at least suspect... of course there's no proof af any irregularity, but I'm more than convinced that the conspiration involved them too...
  18. maybe in the richest disciplines it works that way, but with a sport that barely exists because of the Olympic experience, it's quite different... probably we would have a lot more shooters practicing the double trap if the entire sport of clay target shooting wasn't anymore included in the Olympic program...less Countries overall, but better spread over the 3 events... meanwhile right now, all the shooters are only focused on the 2 olympic events...
  19. short version... Schwazer during his process after being caught before London 2012 revealed all the corrupted system in the world of race walking, starting from the Italian federation's officials and doctors who helped him getting the banned substances he used at that time and going further to the coverup which the Russians (especially the infamous Viktor Chegin's group) benefit from in the past 10/15 years... when he came back after the 4 years ban so strong -he was better than before, almost unbeatable in both the 20 and especially the 50 k- the deviated fidal & iaaf members whose careers were put in danger by the Bozen's trial court outcomes, decided to make him pay for everything (including the fact that he was trained by Sandro Donati, who's a long time enemy of the Italian federation because he revealed all the scandals of the Eighties involving fidal)... Sandro Donati, who was already victim of an infamous manipulation at that time, involving an athlete trained by him (Annamaria Di Terlizzi -you can find a lot of articles related to that scandal on the Italian media), who was banned for using cocaine...but later it was discovered that all the analysis were fake and the entire tests taken at the Rome laboratory were fakes...it took years for them to regain the status of an official laboratory sanctioned by IOC... the connection between all the governing bodies is mainly Dr. Fischetto, who was both a doctor working for the Italian Federation but also the medical chief of the entire IAAF anti-doping program, basically the man who closed his eyes in front of all the Russian misbehaviors (the judges took his PC where lots of data proving the Russian -and not only Russian, but all the Nations preotected by IAAF- systematical abuse of banned drugs)... meanwhile the mastermind of all this coverup operation is mr.Capdevila, at that time general manager of the iaaf anti-doping program, who was then found guilty of corruption in a process connected with the disgraceful Diack family (Lamine's son is still in jail, as far as I know...and also Lamine himself is still facing charges about all the money he got to favour this rather than that during his iaaf tenure)... the material executors of this manipulation are supposed to be* the same FSB agents involved in the Sochi 2014 doping laboratory scandal, with the helpful cooperation of some doctors of the Cologne antidoping laboratory (where the actual manipulation happened and where the tricky analysis of the manipulated samples were made)... *unfortunately, this part has not been proven... these are the facts, as they have been officially stated by the final sentence of that process... in all this sh*t, WADA have always known the truth, but they never did anything to avoid the consequences of these actions... meanwhile iaaf is responsible for not understanding what was going on (if not for being the organizer of all that) and the CAS judges who dsq Schwazer just a few hours before the start of the Rio 2016 20k were surely corrupted as they sentenced exactly what the iaaf's mobsters wanted... if you want a full version, included a shitload of technical and medical data, just go to the Bozen Court and ask for the full list of documents they collected during the Schwazer process (probably some of those documents are available also online)...
  20. frankly I don't know why they still keep this event in the program...once it's been thrown out of the Olympics, it was clear that it was dead and gone... fuc*in' IOC and ISSF!

  22. is it the famous men's room already mentioned in the wrestling worlds thread?
  23. yeah, but what's more surprising here is that he is in a feud with the Central and South American aiba officials, especially the man from Ecuador (who he's saying wants to take is place as VP)...and then, bam! 1st bout he judges and guess what? he's blatantly favouring a boxer from Ecuador... here there's something that goes beyond any logic (and my understanding)...
  24. I think he wanted to write that post in the AIBA Boxing Worlds thread...
  25. I can see these names on the UWW list: - Georgi Valentinov Vangelov (57kg) - Mihail Iliev Georgiev (65kg) - Ali Pasha Ruslanovich Umarpashaev (70kg) - Miroslav Stefanov Kirov (74kg) - Svetoslav Zhivkov Dimitrov (86kg) the full list can be found here (the document linked at the bottom of the article): https://unitedworldwrestling.org/article/wrestling-releases-entry-lists-2019-world-championships
