  1. Germany are going to be last again Now Spain are in trouble lol
  2. Spain following my instructions. Good news for Spain and Croatia.
  3. That was a weak goalkeeper attempt from Simon
  4. [hide] Knockout Stage December 3rd - December 18th, 2022 16 Nations, The Winners of each Round of 16-Matches will qualify for the Quarterfinals. 5. Spain to lose now, so they play Morocco and ditch the Brazil / Argentina bracket
  6. Has Lukaku been offered part of the Croatian GDP Even a blind Stevie Wonder could have scored his opportunities
  7. Disappointed, i wanted France - Argentina.
  8. And Mexico's streak of 1/8 continues. I should have known they will manage to get through eventually
  9. F THIS, seriously...
  10. VAR is the factor here. Anytime now, there is some kind of contact, they are pressured to give the penalty. If they don't they will be damned for not looking at VAR, if they do, they will be damned for looking at VAR and giving an easy penalty. At least before VAR they had the benefit of "not being in the right position to see clearly the situation" and they had more balls in their decisions.
  11. Everyone and the referee clinching for an Argentina win, but Poland refuse to concede a goal. Amazing stuff.
  12. The actual data announced in a very specific way... Why do you think i'm expecting Superbowl numbers and to be impressed? The stat was only covering Portugal. A country with 10 million population. If their highest match viewership is 4 million from 2006, and this match isn't beating that 4 million, then it is not the "Highest audience WC match ever" plain and simple, even if it has 95% share, when only 2 million people were watching...
  13. Hmmmm, they had the most points in the UEFA Qualification for the WC and almost made the Nations League Final 4 a few months ago? Truth is, they were preparing for a political conference, instead of a football tournament. 30th place would be fitting.
  14. No it's not. When you go out with the stat "Highest TV audience for a WC match ever" you can't just use tv share... Because there could have been, for example, 1 million people watching TV this time and 70% share is 700 k, while 8 years ago the highest share for a match could have been 50%, but 2 million people were watching TV. So which one is the higher audience, the 1 million 8 years ago, or the 700 k the other day.. The TV share is a nice modern marketing/advertising trick, which is used to masquerade the declining TV audience. But, when you go out with a grand claim, just give the actual number of viewers.
  15. But what is the exact number of viewers Percentage of people watching TV isn't a clear historical stat.
  16. Watching Iran - US, let's see, if we will have fireworks.
  17. Isn't the largest stadium the 150 000 National Stadium in North Korea
  18. Hmm, this is surprising. Usually there is a rule, that the referee has to be from a different confederation then the two teams, unless both teams are from the same confederation. Guess they have made an exception this time, as it is an important match and don't want to risk with an African/Asian refs
  19. Alba is substituted with Balde and Germany score in the next attack through that zone.
  20. Ah, yes, forgot about them.
  21. With 32 teams, no.
  22. Things going according to plan, but sucks to be Japan.
  23. Interesting. Here the phrase is "pumpkin medal" and it is not directly associated with 4th place, but generally for not achieving anything big.
  24. Yeah, double wins suck, but they count (sort of)
  25. HOLDENER WINS, HOLY COW
