well, day #14 & #15 with the Breakedance events are unbeatable, of course

but tbh, also day #-2, when it all starts, has always a lot of hype (even if it's only about a few not so exciting Football games and that farce named Rugby Sevens in this case)

No clearly the water sport coalition will form a boycott. Say goodbye to sailing, canoeing, rowing, swimming, 1/3 of the triathlon and the 3000m steeplechase

Wins for  and  in the 5-8 place-matches, so they'll play for the 5th place. But no one knows for which OQT they play.  and  decide - after the 5-6 place match - together which OQT will be the easier one.

Netherlands  for sure want to play in OQT2. Don't forget  has one of the best players in the world (Ana Gros) and is simply a very underestimated team (they always draw France and Norway in the early stages, like this year).

The match for places 7 and 8 is played after the match for places 5 and 6. So if there is a loss somewhere on purpose, it is in the match for places 7 and 8.

Lucky Hungary, but still deserved. The past years I really enjoyed watching the Hungarian players. Like last month, when I watched their friendly match against The Netherlands live in the stadium. And for you as a fan @Vektor really nice too. I remember all your amazement, anger and disappointment about the Hungarian women's team over the years on this forum. Then it's nice to get a great chance at the Games. Hopefully they make it in the end!

Cristina Neagu retired from Romanian national team after this tournament Being for years the best player in the world, Romania will mis her for sure in the future, but we have other talented girls coming from behind. Thank you Cristina for all wonderful moments in your entire career I'm proud of you, your achievements and your career.

Even with some small surprises, this must be the most predictable women's handball championship I've ever watched.

Lol. Pity the same cannot be said of Belgium.

The stats between England and Scotland a team who had only beaten them once ever: possession 64-36%, shots at goal 22-9.

Meanwhile in the Netherlands game against Belgium who had beaten them in their previous match in this tournament: possession 71-29%, shots at goal 32-6. To cap it all they played eight minutes of overtime to make sure the Netherlands got the goal they needed.

If there was a questionable game tonight it wasn't between Scotland and England.
