  1. 10th place for the two-men sled today. Solid enough, though Jamaica unexpectedly finished in front. However, we still have the upper hand and will need to place within 4 places of Jamaica to stay in front (3 places if they finish 6th or better).
  2. 29th April The date of the latest TISC Annual if you remember.
  3. Here they are. 2nd after the first run, finished 3rd overall. Pretty darn impressive for someone who started sliding in August... Of 2017.
  4. Yeah, I was actually surprised by her training times yesterday! I've been clicking on refresh button a lot on IBSF results page, but no results yet.
  5. Wow, who was the last Canadian women on the podium? Myriam Bedard?
  6. Well, 29 days before WOG is not too early.
  7. Yeah, Dahlmeier won't be retiring at the end of this season...
  8. Baiba
  9. ENTRY LIST M SINGLES W SINGLES
  10. Says the fan of Kramer's robotic technique...
  11. Lol @ Belgium winning two medals. They had much better prospects going into Sochi and yet they failed.
  12. There are more races, but a lot have been cancelled or moved, basically all of the races from this post. Except Turkey and Iceland (for now).
  13. Looks like Kaukenas is again planning to win a medal in this event.
  14. Bosnia cancelled, Serbia cancelled, Lebanon cancelled... This is just horrible for all those seeking qualification. I wonder if FIS will invite as wild cards, like they did with in 2014 (alpine skiing though)... This time it would be very much justified.
  15. Spain is not high enough on the additional allocation list to have a chance, so looks like they are planning to trade women's quota for the second men's quota. It was possible to do that in 2014. I wonder if they'll still allow that though. Because everyone in 2014 traded women for men, and not the other way around.
  16. He would need 0+0 shooting in one of the remaining sprints. He has the ski speed to pull it off, but shooting is his nemesis. Last weekend he had 0+2, which was his best shooting of the season. It's possible however that even 0+0 wouldn't be enough. And no, there is nobody left that we didn't mention who could potentially move up through reallocation.
  17. Yeah, don't forget that skier defeated Hirsher in the parallel event! It's a wild card event.
  18. Turning luck for our bobsled/luge turned me into a bit of an optimist. They changed the qualification, after some complaint I assume. Looking at it, qualification system doesn't actually say at any point that a nation needs 2+ A standard athletes to be able to have more than 1 quota in the respective gender, which means additional quota was given to Croatia, Iceland and Latvia. Malec is well inside top 300 in sprint, so there is no fear of losing it.
  19. Four-men is indeed in... Two-men not yet, but everything is in their hands. Obratov is not confirmed yet also, however Switzerland will select their team next week and it is expected that they'll use only 1/2 women's quotas, which would effectively give the unused spot to Obratov. In XC we'll have Vedrana Malec and Gabrijela Skender among women, and Edi Dadić among men. Krešimir Crnković may get in too as the second man. It's not a comfortable situation for Crnković, he may go in both XC and biathlon, but he also may not go at all!
  20. I doubt she'll better 3 golds + 1 silver.
  21. Commentator suggested that the others should just lock Shiffrin in a hotel room and throw away the key. In his usual toneless voice, making it sound psychopathic.
  22. Who will lose first, Shiffrin or Hirscher?
  23. He actually raised his voice by about 2 decibels when Truppe took the lead!
  24. Yes, there should be. I nije loš.
