    Well, if anything, this race is a proof that there's no need for four-women bobsleigh. Apparently none of the male crews crashed in the trainings, while in women's most of them crashed, including the likes of Brittany Reinboldt who crashed 4 consecutive times and wasn't allowed to race as a result.

    Because of South Korea'a automatic qualification. I guess won't participate, but can all overtake us (especially since there's no more men's giant slaloms, so I doubt we can win any point anymore).

    That is so true. Relays are really the best proof. Biathlon - 20+ relays at every WC (20 at Olympics) Cross-country - Doesn't even exist at WC level anymore! (lucky to find relays 15 at the Olympics, with only a handful that have any dreams for the podiums...) It's not only the case in cross-country though. It's in all FIS disciplines.

    Nope. Long track is non-existent, while short track team never had a chance.

    Yes, she needs to race at least 5 races on 3 different tracks to be eligible as an athlete. Otherwise, Nigeria is already guaranteed the African quota place.
