  1. Participating sides pretty much agreed on Le Cafe and Politics Lounge (Politics Pub), but it's back to General Chat. The exact name doesn't even matter as much, as long as Totallympics becomes more casual. And that should be the number one priority to be honest...
  2. Politics Lounge might be the one.
  3. Is there any other place besides cafe where politics can be discussed? Le Cafe and Politics Cafe might be one cafe too many.
  4. I think they can manage alright. It does sound fun and way more friendly.
  5. Anyway, forum does look somewhat repulsive to me with all those rules and names like General Discussion Thread. So it's probably even more repulsive for newcomers... However, I guess I keep forgetting that North Korea is our demographic target.
  6. Why not call this thread "Le Cafe" or something like that? Totallympics should follow 2020 Agenda and be urban.
  7. Our four-man bobsleigh team has effectively insured their qualification, even counting that 18th place in La Plagne (which they'll improve in Lake Placid). They can't realistically drop below 31st place in the allocation list (which in reality means 30th, since the Dutch team has already given up on their qualification). Also, going into the last week of qualifications, they are holding the last spot in the two-men event, with a decent enough gap ahead of those behind though. Even counting 23rd from La Plagne as the 7th best result can see them qualify, but probably unlikely. Qualification seems pretty realistic if they finish 14th-15th in Lake Placid, while it's probably more or less guaranteed if they get a couple 11th or 12th finishes. It's a redemption for our sliding sports! After the bad luck of Sochi 2014.
  8. There was a thick fog and those with late start numbers in heat 1 didn't have any speed. It was a bit better in heat 2.
  9. Finland takes the lead - 13 penalty loops.
  10. How is Canada still in top 10? I remember they had several penalty loops not long ago. Oh wait.
  11. Belgium!!
  12. And now everyone has a penalty loop.
  13. Yeah, I don't think they are allowed to cancel races in Oberhof.
  14. Belarus has 12.
  15. Claude
  16. Well, they were also leading the previous relay after two exchanges, but couldn't keep up eventually. Their 3rd and 4th athletes are not so good.
  17. are the only ones without a penalty loop. It's usually the other way around.
  18. And our commentator: "This Austrian is just laying down. shot and missed two targets in more than a minute. I guess he enjoys this rest."
  19. Yup, they are pretty much dominating men's relay this season.
  20. Belgium will win. Lithuania
  21. Belgium crushing everyone in biathlon once again.
  22. Highly irregular conditions in Altenberg today...
  23. Still 4th fastest 2nd run for Vidović. Kristoffersen gonna be a bridesmaid once again.
  24. A valliant effort for Crnković (gonna be IBUC points), but I doubt this is enough for Pyeongchang.
