  1. Reallocated quotas are finally confirmed by ISAF. http://www.sailing.org/tools/documents/2016QualifiedNationsMNAconfirmationfromallevents02.06.16-[20799].pdf Sweden refused men's 49er quota, which is now going to Canada. Considering that Swedish 49er qualified on merrit, there is NO way that Sweden will accept the reallocated quotas in RS:X (what is good news for Chinese Taipei and Latvia). I guess that it's also unlikely that Canada will accept men's 49er quota? If so, then it will go to Switzerland (what should also be unlikely), and after Switzerland we have British Virgin Islands!
  2. Ukraine rejected one of their women's quotas. Hungary receives reallocation. http://www.ittf.com/World_Events/2016OG/2016_OG_qualified_players.pdf
  3. Once again, great ceremony. Good luck tomorrow. May the best song win (and may Croatia get one or two points ).
  4. German dressage championships in Balve started today with a Grand Prix (that's the first of two Rio selection events). And it was an eventful day with some amazing performances! Kristina Broring-Sprehe (Desperados) 81.920% Isabell Werth (Weihegold) 81.720% Dorothee Schneider (Showtime) 79.920% Sonke Rothenberger (Cosmo) 78.080% Hubertus Schmidt (Imperio) 76.820% Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (Unee) 76.100% Isabell Werth (Emilio) 75.960% Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (Zaire) 75.400% Anabel Balkenhol (Dablino) 74.060% Fabienne Lutkemeier (D'Agostino) 73.580% Top 4 are really in the driving seat for the Rio selection. Tomorrow we have Grand Prix Special while Grand Prix Freestyle is scheduled for Sunday. Streams will be available on https://www.clipmyhorse.tv/en/ In other news, it really looks like sky's the limit for Judy Reynolds and Vancouver. They improved the Irish GP record by another 1% today (75.240%). That's already the top 10 zone for Rio (more or less).
  5. Dodig lost RG semifinals meaning that he will lose his Top 10 position in doubles rankings... I guess we'll still have a double but still. Konjuh is going well in Bol though. A win tomorrow should secure her a place in Rio.
  6. Looks like Nesta Carter was the doped Jamaican. Bolt might lose his relay medal.
  7. Košice looks like some uthopia city in this video! P.S. Did you try that tobogganing thing?

  9. She even had an exactly the same time as in Rabat! 1:56.64
  10. And the Japanese trials are over. Yuko Kitai (Don Lorean) 69.234% Masanao Takahashi (Fabriano) 66.334% Kiichi Harada (Egistar) 65.783% Akane Kuroki (Toots) 65.183% Reserve: Shingo Hayashi (Ramses) 63.950% Everyone is going to their first Olympics, except Yuko Kitai (competed in 2008)... And also horse Fabriano, who was ridden by Renate Voglsang (AUT) in London. Actually, Egistar is the only horse that Japanese didn't buy during the last year. All other horses are pretty much the experienced "schoolmasters" they bought for mostly inexperienced riders, just for this occasion (and for the future experience I guess). EDIT: Japanese jumping team was also named today http://www.worldofshowjumping.com/en/News/Japanese-team-for-Olympic-Games-in-Rio-announced.html
  11. Looks like Lebanon really did get that wild card in men's C1. First ever quota for Lebanon in canoeing. http://sports-961.com/richard-merjan-2016-rio-olympic-games/ Their athlete is also very sure about that on his Facebook page.
  12. Palau will have 5-6 athletes, so it will be much easier to follow every one of them closely. Zimbabwe will have 30+, I'm still going to follow them, but not as closely I guess.
  13. I'd like to switch my first and second choice if possible. Palau > Zimbabwe
  14. UCI is reallocating the host quota at the end of the process and it is going to the best nation in nations ranking not already qualified. Indonesia is the highest ranked unqualified nation in the nations ranking (in 19th place). They used the same formula for reallocation of host quotas in both road cycling and mountain bike,
  15. Ok, so I removed the shooting reallocations, but athletics and swimming wild cards will be here. Also added the wonderful canoeing wild card for Palau.
  16. And probably the worst part is that she can't receive wild card in 3000m steeplechase (thanks to stupid IAAF rules). If she doesn't make it she will probably compete in 1500m like in 2012, what is annoying because 3000m steeplechase is obviously her best event.
  17. Nice for Palau! I would assume the quota went to Marina Toribiong, pretty much their only athlete (in women's K1). But it also looks like Cook Islands didn't win a quota in C1 200.
