Road to TISC Annual - Mexico 2019
We conclude our "Road to TISC Annual 2019" series now by remembering a duo of TISC artists from Mexico, our host nation, who have both made 2 appearances at the contest. First though we are travelling to the Mediterranean island of Malta where we will find Red Electrick, the pop-rock band who first appeared at TISC Annual 2014. 62 points and 20th place was to be the final result for their song "The Runaway".
Red Electrick came back one year later at TISC Annual 2015 in Denmark. This time they claimed 85 points with their entry "Young Again", enough for a respectable 14th place finish.

Mexico - Natalia Lafourcade
Natalia won the Mexican ticket for TISC Annual 2016 and 2017
Up next is the first of 2 Mexican artists who represented the hosts of TISC Annual 2019 on 2 occsions. Natalia Lafourcade won the Mexican selection ticket for TISC Annual 2016 in Slovakia. "Hasta La Raíz" finished the contest in 24th position. Undeterred, Natalia won the selection once again for TISC Annual, this time making the trip to Great Britain in 2017. Natalia climbed to 15th place on this occasion with Tú Sí Sabes Quarerme taking 80 points from the juries.

Mexico - Santana
Santana won silver at TISC Open 2016 in Lithuania
What better way to end our "Road to TISC Annual 2019" series by remembering our hosts' most successful TISC artist. That of course is Santana and he too is a 2-time TISC artist. Santana debuted at the inaugural TISC back in 2013 where his enty "Corazon Espiando", featuring Mana bagged an impressive 128 points, enough for 7th position.
However, even better was to come when Santana returned to the contest 3 years later at TISC Annual 2016. This time, his entry, "Smooth", featuring Rob Thomas, racked up a massive 176 points, taking home the silver medal for Mexico. This remains the host nation's most successful result to date and established Santana as one of the true greats when it comes to TISC.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Santana. Best of luck to Mexico in all the preparations for the Grand Final on Saturday and see you all at the Opening Ceremony tomorrow

Road to TISC Annual - Mexico 2019
It's African evening in today's edition of the "Road to TISC Annual 2019" with 4 of today's featured artists representing the African continent and another of African heritage. We also feature a TISC champion and a TISC medalist who both had a second bite of the cherry, but with different outcomes.
In Part 1 we feature 2 Egyptian artists Amr Diab and Dalida and a TISC champion from Germany who is also of Egyptian origin.
In Part 2 we feature Hindi Zahra, Emel Mathlouthi and a TISC bronze-medallist from Ireland Gary Moore.
We begin our journey this evening in Egypt and remember Amr Diab, the Egyptian artist who represented his nation at the first 2 editions of the contest (TISC Open 2013 and TISC Annual 2014). Amr's first appearance at the inaugural TISC remains Egypt's finest result to date, with his entry El Leila finishing in 18th place.

Dalida and Egypt returned to the contest at TISC Open 2018
Amr Diab is not the only artist however to have represented Egypt on 2 occasions. When Dalida competed at TISC Open in 2015, it would be quite some time before we would see Egypt at the contest again. But after a 3-year hiatus from the contest, Egypt decided to make their long-awaited return at TISC Open 2018 and they chose Dalida once more as the artist to bring Egyptian music back on the TISC stage.

TISC Open 2018 - Helwa Ya Baladi
Germany - Adel Tawil
Adel Tawil became the first ever TISC Annual champion
In 2014, the first ever edition of TISC Annual took place. Germany entered with Adel Tawil, a German singer, songwriter with Egyptian roots. His entry "Lieder" went down a storm with the international juries, picking up a whopping 200 points and he lifted the crown to become the first TISC Annual Champion.
Germany decided to enter him again in the TISC Annual one year later in a bid to defend his title. However, on this occasion, it wasn't to be with his entry "Zuhause" coming home in 17th place.

Road to TISC Annual - Mexico 2019
It's now just 4 days until the Grand Final of TISC Annual 2019 and the excitement is certainly building. In today's edition of the "Road to TISC Annual 2019" series we will be looking at 5 artists who are returning to the contest this year. As well as celebrating the returnees, we will be paying tribute to 2 jury members and Totallympics members who have put their own hat in the ring and submitted their own entries as competing artists.
Part 1 we have 3 TISC returnees: Zsa Zsa, Ira Losco and Yumi Zouma. Part 2 we have Within Temptation and 2 Totallympics members who have competed on the TISC stage - JRBS (band member vovanA is a Totallympic user) and Gerbrasy (our very own Werloc).
We begin however with Zsa Zsa, the Croatian singer who has been nominated for the second year in succession to compete at TISC Annual. Last year, Zsa Zsa delivered Croatia their best result in the Annual contest to date and will be hoping for another record-setting showing in Mexico this year. She will also become the first Croatian artist with more than one participation at the contest.
Croatia - Zsa Zsa
Zsa Zsa finished 19th last year at the 10th Jubilee Edition of TISC
TISC Annual 2018 - Zsa Zsa - Kada Budemo Sami

Road to TISC Annual - Mexico 2019
Part 2 of today's Road to TISC Annual 2019 edition we continue looking at the artists who have made multiple appearances at the contest.
When the Netherlands made their TISC debut back at TISC Open 2014, Within Temptation was the artist given the honour of bringing Dutch music to the TISC stage for the first time. Roll forward to TISC Annual 2019 and the band has once more been trusted with flying the Dutch flag at the contest. Kensington are taking a back seat for this edition.
Netherlands - Within Temptation
Within Temptation finished 18th at TISC Open 2014 in Serbia
TISC Open 2014 - Within Temptation - Mother Earth
TISC Annual 2019 - Within Temptation - Mad World
Russia - JRBS
vovanA's band JRBS twice represented Russia at TISC
Totallympics member vovanA has undertaken the proud task of representing Russia not only as a jury member, but he also entered the contest as an artist. In fact he has done so on two occasions, competing at consecutive TISC Annuals in 2016 and 2017 with his band JRBS. Although Russia returned to the contest since then, TISC Annual 2017 remains the last time that vovanA participated at the contest in either capacity as a juror or artist. Let's hope he will return again one day.
TISC Annual 2016 - JRBS - Lock And Load
TISC Annual 2017 - JRBS - Песня Про То, Как Гусь Нашёл Омлет
Lithuania - Gebrasy
Gebrasy, aka Werloc, is entering TISC for a second time this year
Totallympics member Werloc made TISC history when he made the decision to participate as an artist at TISC Open 2014. It was a proud moment for the contest to have a member compete with their own song - and he's decided to do it all over again. This time Gebrasy competes with the song "Acceptance" and no doubt he will be hoping for acceptance from the international juries. Good luck to Werloc.

With no fewer than 5 artists making their return to the TISC stage this year for another shot at glory, this year's "Road to TISC" series will take a look at the artists who have made multiple appearances at the contests. We start by looking at the most prolific TISC performer to date in terms of number of appearance. Inna has represented Romania a whopping 4 times, making appearances at both Annual and Open editions. She also guided Romania to their first and only medal to date when she finished in bronze medal position at the incredibly tight TISC Open edition in 2015. Part 2 of today's edition of "Road to TISC Annual 2019" sees us remember more two-time TISC artists.
Algeria's Nabila Dali not only had the honour of representing the north African nation on two occasions, but her debut appearance at TISC Annual 2015 proved to be a hugely successful one. "My Dream" took home 118 points from the international juries, placing Nabila in 5th place on the final scoreboard, a result which still stands as Algeria's most successful contest to date.

Eddy Grant made 3 consecutive appearance at the TISC Open (2013-2015) but sadly, Guyana has not been seen on the TISC stage since that final appearance of Eddy at TISC Open 2015.

Myrath returned a year later with another strong performance, placing 13th at TISC Annual 2017, which is also Tunisia's second best result at TISC. So will it be 3rd time lucky for Myrath this year?

sorry but this is really your lack of knowledge about what's happening there. you can't take EVERYTHING from people, offer them nothing and then ask for peace ?! they are equally human like the rest of the world, not animals, Gaza is the biggest prison in the world, those people born, live and die their whole life in that "prison" in worst possible situation thanks to likes of Netanyahu, you can't expect them to be peace lovers. hatred creates hatred, and this circle never stops.
when people in Gaza voted for Hamas for the first time few years ago that was probably the best chance for "peace" because from then Hamas should be a responsible government and not just a fanatic group but the western world instead put more pressure on them, cut the financial help and made them much more radical. and now they are even making PNA radical. right now there is absolutely no chance for peace.

I think you have strongly confused me with someone else buddy I've never been in a lab except the mandatory physics and chemistry at my elementary school and since I was absolutely desolate in these matters, I even chose a high school where these subjects were not taught at all. So the last time I was in a lab I was something like 12-13 years old

I decided to do a playlist of all my TISC 12-point picks to date. It's a varied bunch in terms of musical genres but each had that something special.
As of yet, the choice of the Irish jury has not gone on to win the contest. The choice of Malta (TISC Annual 2018) was largely at odds with the rest of the national juries (I still can't comprehend how such a great song didn't score much better), but Italy (TISC Open 2013) and Brazil (TISC Annual 2017) finished with silver medals and Canada (TISC Open 2016) finished with a bronze medal. Hopefully this year we can match with the eventual gold medal winner.
Here are the songs that took the maximum score from the Irish national jury at each of the first 11 editions of the contest. Feel free to make your own 12-point playlists too to re-live more memories.
