Start list and team compositions are now available...

    Preview for the Olympic qualification:

It will probably be a battle between three nations - . Defending team bronze medalists from Italy have experience on their side. Roman/Barraduff and Schivo/Quefira de l'Ormeau are exactly the kind of combinations you want in a team, and it's no surprise that Italian selectors have put them in the first two rotations... Panizzon & Super Cillious have a pretty good record too, but no championships experience. Netherlands has Lips/Bayro, who are one of the main individual medal favorites, but they also have three other very meh combinations. They suffered a late withdrawal from Raf Kooremans. It will be interesting. Sweden meanwhile has a decent team, but definitely weaker compared to the ones they had in 2017 and 2018... Louise Romeike & Waikiki could save their hopes.

will be the dark horses. Both of them are lagging in Nations cup standings (especially Belgium), so this could be their only hope. Switzerland looked pretty good until today, when Felix Vogg withdrew Colero and brought Archie Rocks. Belgium has Karin Donckers, but as always, they have no depth of talent.

    have absolutely no chance whatsoever...

Today we'll know the first Olympic qualifiers in Rowing. The semi-final winners in the Women's quadruple sculls will make it directly to the A-final. And since there are 8 qualifiers in quadruple sculls, all A-finalists (and two B-finalists) will qualify for Tokyo.

only few quotas for Asian athletes. I was hoping to China to at least qualify in men's C1 1000m. that could give Iran a good chance to qualify in Asia. but China failed therefore I guess there is absolutely no chance for Iran to qualify anything in this sport to Tokyo.
