  1. Warholm pulled out of the 400m hurdles earlier today after tweaking his hamstring. No Swedish kit for him (kidding… somewhat, I do hope he recovers as quickly as possible though)
  2. Women’s sitting volleyball semifinal against China was delayed for another 20 minutes, just great
  3. GOLD FOR BRENT LAKATOS IN THE men’s 800m T53!
  4. 6-1 loss, and boccia continues to be a complete flop for us at the Paralympics.

  6. Levine/Ciobanu down 1-5 to Thailand in the mixed pairs BC4 boccia bronze medal match with one end to go And I think that’s the loss right there.
  7. Come on !! Let’s make history! Edit: And with their 3-0 win over Germany in the sitting volleyball semifinals, they’ve won multiple Paralympic medals for the first time in history.

Last few days of the Paralympics Levine/Ciobanu will look to win bronze in mixed pair BC4 boccia at 3:20 AM PST/6:20 AM EST, after losing to Hong Kong in the semifinals, Charles Moreau will look to rebound from the disappointment of finishing 7th yesterday as he takes on the men’s H3 road race at 7:20 AM PST/10:20 AM EST, medal rounds in women’s J1 57kg judo start at 7:58 AM PST/10:58 AM PST with Pricilla Gagne, Aurelie Rivard will attempt to get revenge on an event that’s been causing her some troubles the past few years the women’s 400m freestyle S10, final goes at 8:58 AM PST/11:58 AM EST, reigning World Champion in men’s 800m T53 Brent Lakatos is looking to beat the likes of Paeyo for his 2nd career Paralympic gold, women’s sitting volleyball team takes on China at 11:02 AM PST/2:02 PM EST (I won’t be able to watch the latter part of it, ugh), and last but not least the men’s wheelchair basketball team plays the US in the semifinals at 12:30 PM PST/3:30 PM EST.

  20. I’d assume that he’d be able to play, yeah, even with limited arm movement Boccia is a very inclusive sport. I know not the same thing, but you can even play it if your visually impaired. For example, in visually impaired boccia, a scaled down boccia grid is used. Grids are scaled down versions of the court, and different shapes and sizes of pegs are used to differentiate between the two colours. Is he able to grip things? If not, he might need a little bit of help from someone, who will place the ball in his hand and help him get a firm grip of it. Not sure how limited you mean, as in what he can do with his arms, but I highly suggest using a ramp if the mobility in his arms won’t let him toss the ball far (based off of what I heard, I’m assuming this would be suitable for him)
  21. Only during these Paralympics (first time watching boccia since Tokyo, I believe? and even then it was around 2-3 matches, not the 5+ I’ve watched so far) I’m afraid I’m not much of a help, sorry.
