  1. Bommadevara lost to Peters, I get the Indian campaign in archery has been very disappointing but it was always going to be a tossup.
  2. Agreed. If rules/and or scoring system don’t get put into place, then get this sport out of the Olympics.
  3. Announcers are sometimes wrong. I remember one time when they said it was a clear round in favor of one boxer, and the other athlete was dominating. So yeah, they don’t always know what they’re talking about.
  4. Sometimes the announcers don’t know what they’re talking about though. It’s like they’re not even watching the bout. But that was bulls#%$
  5. Looked like it to me too, but I’m asking for a third opinion because I don’t think either of us follow boxing outside of the Olympics.
  6. @Ogreman what did you think about the Sanford-Oumiha bout?
  7. Wtf? To me that round clearly looked all Sanford? And yet three judges went in favour of Oumiha…
  8. YESSSSS, Axelsen through to the gold medal match! @Wumo @Agger
  9. Sen unraveling here…
  10. Madogo with a new PB of 22.78 in the women’s 200m heats!
  11. 13.01 for Holloway in the men’s 110m hurdles heats!
  12. I saw she retired, what exactly happened?
  13. If you mean this game then yeah, but I was quoting your predictions from the quarterfinals onwards so not really.
  14. August 4 Nothing at 12:00AM, my alarm didn’t wake me up 1:00 AM: Beach Volleyball - Men’s Round of 16 - Ehlers/Wickler v. 15. Oops. Ugh so a non-busy day then for the most part.
  16. Ehlers/Wickler were on fire today
  17. Today, as for medal chances, we have Ethan Katzberg in the men’s hammer throw final, Wyatt Sanford boxes against Oumiha in the semifinals of men’s 63.5kg, Andre DeGrasse goes in the men’s 100m semis (and maybe even the finals), and our women’s 4x100m medley relay will be hitting the pool on the final day of swimming.
  18. 9:20.71 for McCabe, only good enough for 6th in her heat of the women’s 3000m steeplechase, but just shy of her NR!
  19. Sort of flew under the radar, but Douglas is now in 11th after race 6 in women’s ICLA6.
  20. Great analysis, but CPB wasn’t an “expected” medal. She was one of the favourites, but even as the World #1 (based off her recent results, it’s hard to see why she was ranked as high as she was) it was always going to be tough.
