Politicians decide who gets to live what life and who doesn't. Even Germany was back at the Olympics in 1952 less than 7 years since World World II ended (which is three years less than Sochi 2014 happened).

Bottom line is, some lives are more important than others and this has always been the case.

I've been living on this world long enough to realize it's absolutely worthless to listen to any politicians and their reasoning why killing one person is more justified than killing thousands of others.

Just get on with the show...

winning a match is still a good thing. When I started watching they were the worst South American team by miles (though probably is the best baseball there instead)

Yeah, a temporary pool is a dumb idea but it's only because of more people can make it to the stands. Swimming doesn't really attract that much interest since there are only a few nations that compete for medals. The medal roster in athletics is much bigger in comparison.

It's hard to keep track of these NCAA names & times especially they very often disappear after one-two seasons. That's the downside of being a athletics prowerhouse where the revolving door in running is exceptionally high.

Well, the AR flagged it offside to begin with so even without VAR the goal wouldn't have counted anyway. And yeah, this means is the first team eliminated.

The offside was clear but it was deemed impeding and the French GK wouldn't have saved it anyway IMO.

Btw, the Dutch have brought 5 statues now. The one in the middle has to be Gullit so I guess it's all about football after all?
