As @dcro said it is completely voluntary! It's completely up to you if you want to pick a song! It's a chance to share some music you like from around the world with everyone else. It also fills the time between voting and the final, whilst I'm preparing all the voting templates, so that the thread doesn't die!

Festival of Music 2017 Welcome to the Festival of Music 2017! The Festival of Music is a chance for all users to share music they like from all over the world with the forum. The rules are simple, each user can pick a song from 2 countries for the Festical of Music, however they cannot be countries that are competing in this contest. The choice is yours, any country not competing in TISC 2017 and any song from that country, however only one user can pick a song for each country, so you need to be quick and reserve a country otherwise someone else might take it! Well we can keep waiting and waiting but I've heard nothing from the user and I've messaged them a few times as well (even though they've been logged into the forum). I need to start preparing the running order and voting templates and it will delay that whole process. I really don't want to disqualify Czech Republic , but if I keep waiting around then I'm worried that the workload for the contest is gunna start to pile up!

Thank you to everyone who has voted! We have sadly lost the Czech Republic so there votes will need to be reallocated amongst other countries. I've just noticed some users haven't sent reserves, so I'll contact some of you in the coming days asking for a reserve pick if you have voted for the Czech Republic and forgotten to pick one. Tomorrow the running order draw will take place and the festival of music will be launched. I also have some exciting announcements about the 'Road to the Grand Final' that will be taking place over the next couple of weeks!

I see no reason why @Federer91 cannot step in for @stefanbg and vote for Bulgaria! I will extend the deadline by 24 hours as some users have said they don't have the time during the week to vote and would appreciate a weekend day to sort their vote out and I can understand this, so the deadline will be extended until 24:00 1st April 2017. I'm now only worried about @Il_qar as all other users have either contacted me or been online in the last few hours!

No, it will start on Friday. Mens SP and Pairs Free tomorrow!

Had a little look and there are few more chances for some of the countries here to qualify: Colombia in Alpine Skiing (Michael Poettoz has got multiple runs under 140 FIS poits and should be already qualified) Malaysia in Alpine Skiing (Jeffrey Webb again has multiple runs under 140 FIS Points and should qualify for Malaysia) Both now depend on whether the National Federation will agree to send them but I can't see why not.

To be honest politics aside they are an ideal country to develop winter sports, good snowy conditions and good bulk of gymnasts and sportspeople for ice sports! I know they've recently opened the first ski resort in North Korea so I wouldn't be surprised if they try and develop it over time. They must want to make their presence felt in South Korea at the Olympics but coming in as one of the last finishers in Cross Country skiing or Alpine doesn't really do that. They'd do better trying to qualify their figure skating pair that won a medal at the Asian games who have a more realistic chance of a good placing
