  4. I am going to put it out there - GB could do very well in Rio and surprise the world. Men's + Women's Team Pursuit could both win. Trott in the Omnium. Kenny in the Sprint and Keirin. James in Keirin/Sprint if she improves her form. With a little bit of luck, we may not do as bad as most people are expecting.
  5. These results are terrible for GB, we will need a miracle to turn it around before Rio. I am predicitng a HUGE funding cut for British cycling we could set us back even further. One glimmer of hope is that a big National Talent search has been launched for Cycling. But the problem for GB remains, there is more money in road cycling so our best male and female endurance athletes focus on the road rather than the track.
  6. About GB - yes that is very true. We have no money for Biathlon and purely rely on military funding. They also have a stupid system where they send their best athletes to the IBU World Cup where they are 5 minutes of 70th place! Instead they should focus on the IBU Cup (like Brazil) and develop a squad up over time.
  7. I am glad that the Totallympics community can live on! I have to admit I prefer the old site, but I am sure over time I will come to love the new version just as much. It is a shame that we will no longer have results, I hope that in the upcoming Biathlon and Track Cycling worlds we will at least have a gold, silver and bronze result, so we can see the results on this forum. I hope that over time we can create something that is way better than before, with the same great atmosphere and users.
