  2. Miroslava Jedináková made it to the Semifinals in the W -60kg. Saturday she will face Chelsey Heinen of , The winner of the bout will qualify to the Olympics, the loser will have one more chance in the Small Final. (Remember, Slovakia did never qualify in Womens Boxing under the five rings before. Would be absolutely amazing if she could do it and rewrite the history of our sport, but, it will be very difficult and she will need definitely also some good luck on her side)

  30. Men's 63.5Kg - Ismail Umar def. Saparmyrat Odajev - Not 100% sure about this one. Based on Google translate, the Finnish federation went big on their rhetoric "Oh the scattered sound of scattered voices!! A more detailed result will be updated ASAP. But the name comes to mind Ismail Umar" That doesn't sound like a loss to me.

Basically, you have to show evidence that the amount of the prohibitive substance from your partner is much higher than your own. 46. yes the field is weak because of the obvious reason of limiting countries I agree with your general idea , but I would drop the Grand Slam completely. it's a waste of time. also 4 Wild Cards are too much. no room for charity with only 16 athletes per weight. (it's not like Judo with millions of quotas) from what I head WT is going to change its ranking system, it will be 2 years period (which makes more sense than 4 years) and if my memory serves me well they are thinking about a new qualification system, something like Judo, awarding all quotas by the ranking. at least that's a proposal they are thinking about. btw if some people here are happy about the restrictions in this sport (which is already developed in all continents), what would they say about the same idea in athletics or swimming ? I mean you can enter just one swimmer in all freestyle events, that sounds terrible, right ?

  47. There’s no real “invitation” involved with pro boxing. It’s all money driven. She fought for world titles in summer 2023 and lost. Theres no rules (now) about pros entering the Olympics and there’s many active “pros” who have qualified and are attempting to qualify for the Olympics (though some national federations are against it) Her opponent in the next round is Donjeta Sadiku who has won medals at world and European level but hasn’t had any wins against top class opponents.
