Makedonas 1,584 Posted January 25 #862 Share Posted January 25 basketball legend Dimitra Zaponidou passed away at 89 yo She was the first captain of our women's national team. A great player for Greece in an era where it was almost unheard of for women to be playing basketball in our country. A lot of people believe she lived in the wrong country and that in another life she would've been a big name in the basketball world. This is a news report about her death. You don't need to speak Greek to see what a treasure she was, the video of her dribbling the ball and reminiscing on her career/younger days FireRun

Damn I remember when he started appearing here and there, basically the first one to set some semi-serious national records on the 500m all the way through 3000m. Tragic read, his mother found him lifeless on the sofa, but he had his headphones on so at first she thought he just didn't hear her... vinipereira 1 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated!
