Promising race by Dowsett. Don’t follow much cycling outside major events. Do GB have their strongest riders at these champs?

Owain Doull - a typical midfielder and will impose a possible pace in the peloton;

Tao Geoghegan Hart - assistant to Thomas;

Ian Stannard - a typical midfielder and he will impose a possible pace in the peloton;

Ben Swift - a sprinter, maybe he will get away;

Geraint Thomas - the leader of the national team, I think UK will go to him;

Adam Yates - reserve leader, as Thomas will have a bad day.

 

For ladies for that

Elizabeth Banks - assistant;

Alice Barnes - assistant;

Hannah Barnes - potential leader;

Elizabeth Deignan - the British will go to her;

Anna Henderson - assistant;

Nicola Juniper - assistant.
