Canada's 3x3 Women's Basketball Team of Michelle Plouffe, Paige Crozon, Kacie Bosch and Katherine Plouffe defeat  :FRA U24, 19-18 during the Montreal stop of the FIBA 3x3 tour, to win their third title of the season. Michelle Plouffe's play during this tournament, has guaranteed her spot of the number one ranked women's 3x3 athlete. Paige Crozon, is currently ranked third. Katherine Plouffe is currently ranked sixth. Kacie Bosch is currently ranked 7th. Their season ending stop is at the finals in Constana, Romania on September 17-18. Canada punched their ticket to the FIBA U17 Men’s Basketball World Cup 2024 after advancing to Saturday’s semifinal at the FIBA U16 Men’s Americas Championship 2023 with an 89-63 quarter-final win over Mexico on Friday night in Yucatán, Mexico.
