    The graphics aren’t as good as the ones used by ISA/ISL. Generally, score board shows the total score, best two wave scores (which added up are the total score), current wave score, and score needed to take the lead. The rules can be complicated, but the causal viewer can watch the sport and just appreciate what’s going on (like many other Olympic sports).

    Wave/swell seen quite different from the wave/swell at the World Surf Games earlier this year. These waves remind more of the kind of waves we get in Southern California.
