Après on voit fleurir des "incroyable quand même que untel doive lancer une cagnotte". Bah non, surtout pas quand tu as pris ta retraite un an avant avec la bagatelle de 0 participation en grand championnat international estival. Après bonne chance à Fred Dagée, qui serait déjà parti de loin sans retraite, et qui va devoir réapparaitre dans les rankings ex nihilo. Il a intérêt à enchainer les bonnes perfs rapidement ... ça sent un peu l'habituel retour annoncé et dont on n'entend plus trop parler ensuite. Allez j'arrête la mauvaise langue

Doubtful about Moloney now. You forgot Tilga in there too, and even Ziemek and Harrison Williams, Owens ? 

I don't see any reason to think Skotheim could not be a medal contender in Paris. His potential is already over 8900, similar to Victor's, not far off Garland's or Neugebauer's, and he'll continue to improve. A sum of PBs around 9000 means you can decently hope to perform a ≃8800 Decathlon. He competed a lot this summer, Budapest is not telling about his abilities. Rooth on the other hand has much less leeway.

Question complètement annexe. Je vois que Camille Jedrzejewski est présentée comme "Bordelaise" alors qu'elle est née à Compiègne et est toujours licenciée à Noyon, même si elle fait ses classes au Pôle France de Bordeaux désormais. En l'espèce je trouve ça assez douteux. Je comprendrais si c'était un journal local, qui forcément doit rattacher au territoire, mais là c'est l'Equipe. Et ça reviendrait à décrire tous les athlètes de l'INSEP comme "Parisiens" ou "Vincennois".

L'avantage du 200m lancé de qualification c'est qu'il permet de donner une idée de la forme. Encore une fois son temps n'est pas calamiteux. 

A quelques centièmes elle finissait devant Hinze et affrontait la jeune Chinoise plutôt que Friedrich, ça lui aurait peut-être permis de rejoindre la demi-finale. 

Déjà il faudrait séparer la vitesse de l'endurance dans l'analyse. Si on regarde juste les résultats de cette dernière il n'y a pas matière à s'inquiéter outre mesure. On peut regretter un manque de progression très palpable mais la PPE féminine confirme et la PPE masculine n'est pas si loin du compte (pour la 3ème place) dans des conditions compliquées. En individuel Thomas un peu décevant mais on ne peut pas non plus attendre qu'il écrase tout, tant qu'à faire je préfère qu'il fasse 2 là qu'à Paris. L'Américaine fille encore médaillée avec un nouveau duo, et Berteau pas forcément au mieux. Franchement dans l'ensemble il n'y a pas matière à paniquer. 

Pour la vitesse il y a eu un gros couac dans la gestion du pic de forme. Le niveau auquel peuvent évoluer les Français(es) est connu donc la question c'est : vont-ils régler ce problème d'ici l'année prochaine. Et si oui, y'aura-t-il une progression supplémentaire ? Encore une fois difficile d'attendre monts et merveilles des garçons en individuel. De ce point de vue Gros aura intérêt à répondre présente. Deux choses m'inquiètent à son sujet.

1. Finucane a explosé et elle va être très difficile à déloger avec ce niveau (McCulloch a quitté le staff britannique, elle ne semble pas étrangère à la progression récente de l'équipe), 10.23 en qualification personne n'a approché ça au niveau de la mer.

2. Son état d'esprit. On pouvait se réjouir de l'année 2022, le titre mondial, la Champions League dominée, et là "patatras". La façade état d'esprit conquérant m'a l'air un poil factice dès lors que la forme ne suit plus. Son discours m'avait un peu inquiété avant la compétition et ça s'est confirmé. En soi son chrono de qualification n'est pas catastrophique qu'on peut mettre sur une prépa difficile (cf article L'Equipe) donc il y a potentiellement de la marge, mais j'espérais la voir proposer autre chose sur la piste. Montrer qu'à défaut d'avoir les watts il y avait la grinta et la maitrise tactique. Et là...

Those I did not write anything are not called in by CAS cause they did not perform what "CAS wanted" ..... Such bullshit. Why not to give them the chance if they are in the ranking? WCH can also give them a huge amount of points to the ranking for Paris 2024. I don't really get it ....

They couldn't nominate Kopecký, he has not received an invite. I know they did not reject it because it would have been transfered to Gletty, next in line, who hasn't been selected either.

? She's only 6 months younger than Kouamé, both are 2002. 

Anyway the fact that she beat them despite being younger does not account for a particularly "special" talent, no more than her being beaten until recently proves she shouldn't be here now.

Au moins une fois. A ma connaissance la première apparition de ce trio en compétition lors de la première Coupe des Nations 2022 à ... Glasgow.

Pas particulièrement concluant il faut dire puisque Michaux a enregistré un tonitruant 16.125. Ils n'ont jamais retenté depuis. 

Le truc c'est que si elle a du mal à envoyer la sauce dans un deuxième tour, ça risque d'être encore plus compliqué dans un troisième, surtout après avoir été tirée par Gros dans le deuxième. 

Elle est à mon avis au meilleur positionnement possible, par défaut. Dommage parce qu'on voit ce matin qu'à forme à priori égale elle n'est pas si loin intrinsèquement de Kouamé ou du reste de la concurrence. 

Ca semblait être le désert derrière ces trois là mais j'ai été très agréablement surpris de Marie-Louisa Drouode lors des Europe U20. 11.229 en qualification, il y a un peu d'espoir, probablement trop court pour 2024 cependant. 

J'avais mis ailleurs que j'attendais Gros en 10.5/6, Kouamé en 10.7/8 et Michaux en 11.1. Elles y sont, sauf Michaux qui est bien mieux qu'attendu. Ça tend à confirmer qu'elle a de la vitesse à revendre mais un profil qui ne colle pas à la VPE.

Je ne sais pas la raison mais ça cloche, pourtant c'est un effort similaire aux qualifs de la vitesse, 200 ou 250m à fond. Elle en laisse peut-être trop sur le départ arrêté à suivre Kouamé.

Fulton la NéoZ fait 14.02 en VPE, 11.00 sur 200. Michaux fait 10.89 mais seulement 14.28 

Sato 10.83 pour 13.99, van der Wouw 10.69 pour 13.68 etc

Carlin en demi-finale, sur son tour 3 de la VPE il était complètement à la rue.

Ils n'ont probablement aucune explication, ce qui est problématique.

Ils tenaient la barraque sans être transcendants. Le temps de Helal est très bon pour un troisième tour mais ça n'engage pas forcement un temps monstrueux sur le 200 lancé et les matchs individuels. Il bat Hoogland et Glaetzer mais on a vu que les deux étaient loin du compte aussi.

Quant à Gros elle a déjà fait mieux et prend quatre dixièmes par Finucane et Friedrich.

Ouai enfin covid covid, ça rendrait pas tout le monde complètement naze, faut pas forcer non plus.
