  1. Second thing is the costs. Well, we tried to calculate it and ... it's expensive. The thing is my wife and kids are not really sports fans, so they would prefer "normal holidays" and I understand them. Before, we tried a combo like warm baths in Eger for them and F1 race at Hungaroring or sth similar but still, this is much different... Anyway, we go to Paris this June to check it out how it is out there, and we'll see... First talks with friends about accomodation for 24 are done, now time for this lottery thing... But this whole thing is still 2nd problem, safety issues are 1st. Sometimes I think that if RUS athletes are allowed to participate somehow, chances for some safety-related inicidents are smaller... But it's just my thinking and I certainly know I may be biased here... this is awful world we're living in, you know...
  2. I would like to see the olympics in the countries that never were hosts before. It won't be easy, but it's worth trying. I would like to see olympics in Poland ofc. But if it's not possible, i would like to see them in Africa. would be the best choice. Good for watching at home for me, the same timezone like CET I think, and maybe not in the European Summer, when there is lots to do even when there's no olympics. would be very interesting as well. I don't see it happen in the near future though, but one can dream. And hopefully I'm wrong here and it will happen.
  3. Maybe next season additional category, sth like: the biggest sensation, the biggest surprise, an underdog wins... sth like that? This is a little bit different than "breakthrough" and not a king of "biggest fluke"... Anyway, I am waiting for the final voting, could be very interesting!

  9. This player.pl thing is Polish version of Discovery Plus i guess i have nothing against it tbh but it just doesn’t work for me i tried to make an account there, gave them my credit card number etc. And it’s not working… i have to record the races from TV transmission like in the 90s…
  10. So far switching from EurosportPlayer to Player.pl here in Poland didn't go smoothly for me. I don't have access to the "on demand" videos, couldn't watch today's alpine skiing when back home after work. Only live tv (Eurosport) is available but through CanalPlus, not by Player :-( :-(((((
  11. Unfortunately only 75 emojis allowed in one comment. So new NOCs here - MOZ and JOR couldn't get their flags. @Sindo

  22. Well, I don't like this document. This is not what I was looking for. I liked that book because it is about Munich 1972 Games AS A WHOLE. We usually remember only about terror, and IT HAS TO BE REMEMBERED FOREVER, but apart from that there are many interesting stories about those Games and some of them are well-mentioned in this book.
