  1. Luckily Syahrin seems to be relatively alright. Bruises and a contussion on his pelvis, but no fractures. That was scary.
  2. Meanwhile in Poland...pretty understandable a lot of riders were pissed off in the Tour Bitwa Warszawska They didn't expect cyclocross this time of the year
  3. DNS for Roglic in today's final stage in the Dauphiné. Meanwhile Kruijswijk is unsure for the Tour de France.
  4. And Van Kalmthout ends up being the only Chevy in the Fast Nine, wow
  5. And that's young rookie Rinus van Kalmthout He could have been up even higher if he kept his warmup lap a bit slower, he was 15-30 km/h faster there than most guys around him, meaning his last laps could have been a bit faster.
  6. Broken pelvis and end of season for Evenepoel. It's a miracle that's all, so I hope he'll count his blessings, so to speak.
  7. Slightly disappointed these Italian TV people didn't try to interview Evenepoel while he was being treated down in the ravine
  8. Ah, the TV director didn't see enough bad details yet, so let's show more close ups! Seriously, does this director have no soul? Eurosport commentators meanwhile making very clear they don't control what's being shown, the fault here lies entirely with I presume RAI. Then again, we all know the images of Wouter Weylandt bleeding from his head while dying on the road and the director happily zooming in on it from helicopter view. Assuming that came from RAI too.
  9. Fuck you, TV director. Do these idiots learn nothing?
  10. He fell all the way down there, with the worst of luck he crashed into trees and rocks (although the trees might break his fall somewhat) into a little river.
  11. Oh fuck, Evenepoel crashed over a wall into a ravine...
  12. His long-expected first pro win, in fact. Bernal didn't start (back problems), Kruijswijk and Buchmann crashed out today, so three of last year's Tour de France top-4 are out.
  13. Him using cocaine was a smaller shock to me than "he ended his career in 2018", I thought he'd been gone for at least 5 years
  14. Il Lombardia today, let's see if anyone can threaten the sky high favorite (based on both common sense and the bookmakers odds), obviously Remco E. It's rare to see someone be this much of a favorite in a monument, it's bizarre to see it for someone making his debut
  15. Russia, Ukraine....even Poland, sure. But why this totally random addition of the Netherlands?
  16. What is 'Covid Warriors'? Never heard of them and Google doesn't really help neither
  17. Not sure Ermelo still exists after the storm passing right by where I live and full-on hitting Ermelo two days ago
  18. We saw the last of 279 episodes of The Big Bang Theory two days ago, there goes our breakfast ritual On the upside: started with season two of Kingdom which again is awesome
  19. Just to clarify I'm expecting to send my results tonight, I've set an alarm for after dinner (which is after work) to listen
  20. NTT is no longer the only/main team looking for oldies with potentially career wrecking injuries and completely ignore actually useful young talented riders, they've got competition in that regard since Israel is throwing money around lately
  21. It seems unlikely the world championships will go ahead this year, media is expecting a cancellation to be announced soon.
  22. Cool, if there are spoiler-free videos on YouTube, someone please post them Same for the Lysebotn rollerskiing climb.
  23. I had entirely missed @OlympicIRL's things about (rightfully) choosing to spend more time with family and friends during his holiday, that explains why @mrv86 was sending PM's which I had of course noticed but not thought of as odd for some reason Props for our Mexican friend, despite his corn threat towards my person, for taking over the duties so quickly and smoothly And I see @Vektor is joining him at least in posting results? Props to Hungary too then
  24. Meanwhile tomorrow the Dauphine starts, which promises to be another fantastic borefest with the Roglic-Kruijswijk-Dumoulin trifecta against the Bernal-Thomas-Sivakov-Froome squad. Five stages, five uphill finishes, so don't expect too much excitement
