  1. Ouch, abandon for Calmejane.
  2. Two big descents to go though, hopefully that goes well.
  3. Too bad Nizzolo got injured, in his shape he'd have been probably one of the two or three biggest favorites for the green
  4. Sagan in good shape would have had good chances to gain a good amount of points this weekend, but he's not in the lead group today. Maybe tomorrow, when the sprint is after the first big climb, although he just doesn't seem nearly good enough to survive a climb like that this week.
  5. It is not, but...sure. Let's just go with that and enjoy the Tour. After all, the sprint stages are just to cover the ground between the real work anyway.
  6. Once again @Sindo saves the day
  7. Apparently whenever posting in a thread, I automatically 'follow' that thread, resulting in notifications for every single post in said thread. I know there is a 'Follow topic' button under the post field that's for some reason turned on by default (it never was, or at least I never automatically followed a thread). Is there a setting somewhere to turn this off? It's rather annoying when commenting in 5 different threads and then at the end of the day having 50 notifications because other people of course posted there too
  8. This has nothing to do with Tour de France, to be fair. In every single cycling race they are trying to make courses that provide for as good as possible racing. And yes, if one person dominates something for ages and ages, it's not necessarily a bad thing to make some changes (if that's even the reason of course, let's be honest - Sagan is way more of a moneymaker for sponsors than, say, Sam Bennett).
  9. Which is excellent, in my opinion: more sprint points for the sprinters. Just like big mountaintop finishes should give way more points than climbs of the same category somewhere early in the stage.
  10. Chinese meet is still on Wikipedia But yeah, that's gonna be it (those two).
  11. I often agree, but this one was pretty normal. There were running events, which were all shown, and there were only two not very interesting field events, which were both shown in between. I really don't see the problem.
  12. Ouch, just noticed the loss for Pogacar. I don't think it matters so much for Porte and Mollema (well for them it does, but I mean in terms of the GC in general ), but Pogacar losing that much is big...although it might mean he'll have to unleash his power early
  13. It doesn't say there is no Winter Universiade in 2021, just not in January.
  14. Good luck having a World Cup in tiny Arber even without spectators.
  15. Where do you see hate? I just see people basically saying he's not in great shape, which is rather obvious and has nothing to do with one's personal opinion
  16. Just saw the full result now, pretty awesome by mostly the French B-sprinters like Coquard, Venturini and Hofstetter to make it to the finish in the main group.
  17. Wout, the God of all that is and ever will be
  18. Cosnefroy is too good for this kind of bullshit, getting the two points due to the grace of the peloton and then hoping to finish within the time limit..
  19. Well they're not going to catch up three minutes in barely four kilometers of semi-flat roads, so yeah that's done
  20. RIP everyone who's not Lutsenko
  21. Cavagna, Oss and EBH are out of it, not surprisingly.
  22. Lutsenko, Powless, Herrada and Roche for the stage win. Lutsenko could have used a bit of a flat towards the finish, but fine.
