  1. Ah crap, rewinded that and I should not have done that. Looks like his elbow snapped backwards entirely when he tried to land on his hand....damn.
  2. Looks like Horne has sustained a serious injury in his match against the Georgian..
  3. Grondin and Walls are running out of gas.
  4. Well that's one, I had hoped Schleu would be expelled actually. I wonder how they can be comfortable letting her ride horses next time (for the horse's wellbeing, not hers).
  5. Perfectly timed move for France!
  6. That's one American collarbone done and dusted
  7. Just got around to watching yesterday's show jumping portion....what on earth is wrong with Schleu?! I mean, disappointed, understandably, but the way she treated that horse was utterly disgusting... I'm not googling because I still have the laser run to watch, but surely she'll get quite a penalty for this? Good that the horse at some point was basically like 'screw you' and outright refused, good riddance.
  8. NED is surely happy with BEL taking away some points from GBR though
  9. Not for Cavendish, who apparently was angry for years at his big chance for gold being thrown away because Sir Mister King Wiggo partied so hard he was still actually drunk after his two golds the day before They were basically by far the best riders of the entire field and would've been incredibly hard to beat.
  10. Hopefully no issues like a drunk Wiggins throwing away a medal in 2008
  11. Those two + Canadian guy taking himself out Although Büchli's relegation was for breaking a line I believe, not much interpretation there.
  12. Genest made it, apparently Good luck to anyone actually telling the difference there. It is visible though.
  13. But he didn't (although he would have had an excellent chance in that first race).
  14. Barrette being treated. Meanwhile, Dutch NOS: "Luckily it didn't get in the way of Büchli !" Making clear how much one cares about the sport..
  15. Barrette with one wrong move and he goes down hard
  16. Argentina, wow, that is awesome
  17. That's what I thought as well, until the replays made it clear that the Malaysian guy actually pushed into him first and made Carlin lose his balance. Really more Sahrom's fault than Carlin's, and the Kazakh was definitely the victim of course.
  18. Hard fall for Sahrom, Ponomaryov crashes right over him. Luckily both are ok.
  19. Not sure it works outside of Belgium and the Netherlands, but if it does, it's worth a quick watch. Physics teacher Mieke Gorissen started too fast and completely blew up, she had no idea where she was in the race but surely somewhere in the back, she was extremely happy to have finished the race. Then the interviewer told her that she actually finished 28th and she basically burst in tears for minutes because she was so sure she was far behind! Somewhere in between: "I also think I lost a toenail but if that's the price, I'll pay it!"
  20. Wow, gold for USA, history or something
  21. De Colo hits his own face and gets two free throws for it
  22. If France had only thrown away 60% of their chances instead of nearly everything, they'd be way in the lead..
  23. Thanks! Now still wondering what's the biggest gap in between golds As in, the longest time without gold, between two gold medals.
