Right, question: I just watched Aghayev vs Busa, and at some point Aghayev gets punched in the face quite strongly by Busa and he goes down. However, instead of some sort of score for Busa, it's some sort of penalty for Aghayev. Why does one get penalized (by something else than a score) for being punched in the face? Isn't that, you know, an extra punch in the face? -

And about this, on a Dutch forum we've been having a fun game which might be fun here next time as well (I really didn't have time to introduce it here anymore, sadly): pick 32 individual athletes who you give 32 points down to 1 point. If the athlete wins, you get that number of points (i.e. put your most certain winners highest). Same for team events (everything with more than 1 athlete), with 30-27-24 etc points.

And it's not like it's complicated. It'd be enough to literally have 4-5 volunteers walking around giving bottles and towels.

Dutch commentator threw in a bit of a worry right after the start: Hassan's management had told him that she had been having a not very light leg injury before the Olympics, and she was actually on the edge of withdrawing from Tokyo altogether. I did not expect her to have this kind of last lap in her anymore, but I guess Gidey's tactics helped

I still didn't really figure out when and why they stop the bouts. In some moments one guy kicks the other (and hard) and they go on, and on basically similar actions they are stopped.
