The German commentator was pronouncing her name with such a huge emphasis on an 'r' ("Vrlhova/Vrova") that at some point it got me wondering if maybe one is supposed to pronounce an 'r' in this name somewhere

Meh. There was a little documentary/interview with him and Miriam on German TV when the skiing was postponed this morning, it's hard to find two nicer people than them. I hope Neureuther finally gets a lucky break somewhere...(you know, apart from convincing Gössner to marry him and everything )

Check out 18-year old Norwegian Ragne Wiklund in the B-group https://live.isuresults.eu/events/2019_JPN_0001/competition/14/results She came in with a PB of 2:00.02, from last March's world junior champs in Salt Lake (where Beune and Leerdam both skated low 1:54's, so the ice was great).
