I was watching a bit of a pair from Oman against a pair from the Maldives....that was painful. Almost all of Oman's points came from stuff like the Maldives players just smashing the ball right into the net or way out of bounds, whereas most of the Maldives points came from Oman making a mistake on the serve and hitting it into the net instead of the Maldives players actually making the point..

Yep, altitude is generally not great for endurance. It's awesome for short events, but the longer it gets, the harder the lack of oxygen makes it (which is why in speed skating the 500m at altitude has relatively way better times than the 10km). Plus air pressure went up today, after two weeks of perfect conditions, which is also not helping.

The commentary on the UCI live stream is done by José Been and Nick Stöpler (who often do the commentary on Dutch Eurosport for cycling, road and track), this is really strange to hear them talk in English now
