  1. Well. 12 states still pretty much in play in the presidential election with about half a week to go and 10 senate elections looking pretty tight as well (RCP ratings) (though we'll most likely be looking at a runoff in the Georgia special election). That's really gonna be one heck of a election night (and week while the last votes are counted) not to mention that both presidential candidates are certainly preparing to fight for recounts. The polls are looking better for Biden than Clinton at this point, but nothing is over
  2. No doubt, but still expectations are at 150 millions. That's pretty massve comparing to former elections (in % as well)
  3. And 10 other states at more than 80 % of the turnout in 2016. No wonder that a major turnout is expected. We'll be at close to 2/3 of the total turnout just during early voting.
  4. It's not unusual though a lot of countries do have it in the weekend. It's usually Tuesday or Wednesday in Denmark as well.
  5. I would have prefered giving the songs one last go, but no time... My votes have hereby been sent!
  6. Going for the all-nighter as well and taking wednesday off. Can't way to see if the polls are as much off as the right wing people say
  7. Got through the songs for the first time. Have to admit that I'm not all too overwhelmed this time.

  10. Well. It's a pretty normal thing that the party of the president struggle in the midterm (except for Bush the president has lost in at least one chamber in every midterm election since 1934), that's the way the system is. But looking at the map for the 2022 senate elections nothing seems certain. There are some pretty good chances of flipping seats for both parties.

  12. Even without the gold I feel pretty satisfied. We're in a tough period with Sverri seeming like the only real contender (W4 on a good day). Several others showed pretty good progress (Fie Udby getting back to a good level and decent showings from both W2- and M2-). Just missing the M4- back at the level they showed in the beginning. We aren't the strong rowing nation that we used to be (well, the ongoing slaughter of lightweight rowing doesn't help) but things are going the right way again.
  13. Strong Danish day in cycling with Mads' win, a win for Casper Pedersen in Paris-Tours (though it's really not the race it once was) and a 3rd place in the Giro.
  14. The fight for the win not interesting at all, but the battle for the next places was great for all the race.
  15. Some problems with Wloszczowska's timing. Out for a short while but now it's back with her in 8th
  16. Malene Degn slowly moving up the rankings even being one of the riders losing the least in parts of the route. With a bit of luck top 10 could even be within reach!
  17. Texas that's getting closer and closer to being a battlegrond state?
  18. 2 days, two 3rd places. Decent Danish start though Birdie will be pretty much alone in the toughes mountains.
  19. Disasterous start for Astana. That's the 2 strongest climbers along Fuglsang out of the race!

  21. Just typical. Liverpool going to Denmark and we'll by all means be unable to go as away fans
  22. FC Midtjylland qualifying! What a present from the VAR room giving them an extra penalty kick after the foot of the keeper just leaving the line. If that's gonna be the way now, I feel like we'll see a bunch of retaken penalties in the future!
  23. Really says it all! I'll just say that I'll never complain about Danish debates again. Biden dodged the traps that Trump tried to put out (especially trying to make Biden seem like a part of the radical left). No doubt that he didn't seem all too strong. He didn't make major gaffes (though he was a bit incoherent from time to time) and I do to some point like his way going into the debate, but a stronger debater would have destroyed Trump today (but the again, Clinton did very well in the debates and that didn't help at all)
