  1. We are sending a song that i actually like, what's up with that. But really if anyone is predicting we have a chance to win, they are deluding themselfs. Qualifying for the final will be a miracle, since we have done it only once in 9 attempts. I hope at least for that, because Poli was very disappointed in 2011.
  2. Klitschko has said that if AIBA allow profi boxers in Rio, he will be there in pursue of a second Olympic gold medal.
  3. Sadly, such a horror was expected, especially when they caught Abdeslam. It's retaliation and it won't be the last one. Today they aired an inteview with a young bulgarian footballer who plays in the second division and he said that in Brussels and Antwerp there are hardly any white people in the streets and it was very strange and scary for him when he was there sometime ago. Who would have thought that there would come a time when Eastern Europe could be safer than Western Europe. Of course such terror can strike anywhere, because the top leaders are full of shit.
  4. The Fiba Champions League is a much better option than the ULEB ClownLeague with the same teams every year... At least they are going to give a chance to middle countries to participate on the biggest tournament and will give more importance to the domestic leagues for the top countries, where finishing in the top 3 will be a challenge. It's high time the private corporation ULEB gets the fuck out of organizing european basketball, because they only care for the very top of clubs and leagues, because they bring them the money. They could care less about the basketball in Bulgaria, Romania or Portugal for example. If it means banning clubs, players, referees then i say go for it. The more european basketball becomes like european football, in format and less like the NBA, the better.
  5. Having a Superleague with 30 games league format with "Gods" teams every year is the real joke.
  6. Don't forget motocross Jeffrey Herlings should have been a 4 time champion in MX2 if it wasn't for the injuries.
  7. Powell what a mental midget once again Unfortunate for Spanovic, but Reese showing again why she is a long jump legend, amazing last jump with all the pressure. Also great for Mrs. Eaton, finally breaking that second place curse. Now Ashton needs to bring it home today.
  8. Again, what a pity for Sagan, this is unbeliavable.
  9. Sagan again second yesterday. It was funny last year and all, but now i feel it is getting a bit depressing. Still wins when it counts though.
  10. Realistically maybe 1, but with how our whole sport is going downhill for the last decade it wouldn't surprise me if we don't get anything. If LDOG is predicting only 3-4 medals for Argentina, then i don't know where are we going. By the way, do you guys feel like this year the Big 3 won't win as much as usual. I can see the other big countries and especially many middle-pack countries exceeding their performances and getting a chunk of medals from the Big 3.
  11. Fucking unbelivable I'm done with mens biathlon, i can't cope with this crap anymore...
  12. Congratulations to former Grand Slam champions Justine Henin & Marat Safin on being elected to the Tennis Hall Of Fame 2016!
  13. Let's see if the new deal between the EU and Turkey will finally bring some order. I'm not very confident and expect Turkey to continue to blackmail the EU without taking any significant measures like with the first 3 billion payment. The whole Balkan road should have been stopped a year ago...

  15. Now the ATP, when! Anyways a big blow to her image and the WTA, unintentional or not. The fact that she has been using it for 10 years and that it is banned just from this year should be no excuse. Every top athlete should check the WADA list, especially when they do take medication. Even though it wasn't banned before i surely helped her through the years, so i don't know if this will leave a mark on her results.
  16. I'm in the minority that liked the old version better. I dislike these new versions that websites upgrade to with the large fonts, the large icons and so on. I like it much better when it is small and compact and i don't have to scroll forever. Having every sport on a single row makes it very long. I know you could hide the sections, but either way, when you want to search a particular sport you have to collapse to find it. Also the design of the topics seem very bland to me. I wish i could change the background color for my account. That's just my taste after all, and i don't want to offend Sindo and all the work he has done to bring the site back up.
  17. Kubrat Pulev also said that if things go through he would be interested in going on another Olympics. This could make boxing one of the high-profile sports at the Games and i think AIBA are already counting their chickens. Let's see what the Profi organisations will say about it.
  18. Ugggg, Fourcade spoiling the party once again... I just can't anymore. It would have been perfection for one more magical moment from King Ole, like in Sochi. Keeping hope alive for the next starts. Vlado Iliev with a perfect shooting could have battled for a medal, which would have been outstanding for us. Nevertheless amazing performance by him for a top 10 finish. As for the women, i'm so happy that Eckhoff made a perfect race, finally! She has so much potential, and all the problems she had prior with the shooting was so underwhelming. Let's hope this will unleash her and she will have more consistent results. The womens race was so stong today. I surely thought Wierer would get a medal with that machine-gun shooting, but many people skiing faster and faster as time went. Tomorrows pursuit will be so competitive.
  19. The Euro Champs will show in what form is our team, and they better be in good form, because the olympic qualifying tournaments are comming very soon. Getting only 3 quotas from the Worlds last year was pathetic, so these couple of months will be do or die.
  20. Team Norge always peaks for the big championships and since this is their home one, i expect them to be in monster form. Maybe last chance for Svendsen to show that he isn't finished and can still be with the best. Also maybe the last start for Ole Einar Bjorndalen, i don't know if he is reconsidered staying till 2018.
  21. Finally Totallympics is back! It has been a tiresome month, without a place and people to talk about the world of sport. I hope everything will be ok for the future. Too bad we won't have results (for now), because this place had the most in-depth information, all in one place, which was extremely helpful. Nevertheless i'm very happy that the site is back up and to continue our discussions.
