Finishing the season in top 50 is excellent achievement Wozniacki into seventh final this season (out-winnered Muguruza ), may it's the lucky seventh? Pavs won all her matches in three sets and the fitness may cost her the title. Best chance for the trophy this year for Caro, and I think she'll take this one.

New Zealand The Fourmyula were a New Zealand rock group formed in 1967. Ten of their fourteen singles reached the New Zealand Top 20. The group consisted of Martin Hope (guitar and vocals), Wayne Mason (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Ali Richardson (bass and vocals) and Chris Parry (drums). They were joined in 1968 by Carl Evenson as lead vocalist. Their first release, "Come With Me" made it to number 2 in August 1968. We will bring this discussion very soon, about scoring systems in many sports. The only contests with the most fair scoring systems in my opinion are individual one and tennis. Maybe football too (but my understanding of importance of the goal scoring in football is irrelevant so someone who's more into it could say otherwise). I definitely think there shouldn't be points for picking the losing team. Also, I would like to ditch bonus points in volleyball.... So, hopefully, most of the users will take part in the discussion so we can set up the rules few weeks before 2018 starts

Lol. And with WC, OG and EC being in back to back years, no one will give a damn for EC. Plus with this expanding with 24 teams... No wonder Serbia's B team was in the final this year

I read that there will be separate qualifications for World Cup which will affect it badly... Continental championships appear to be meaningless

After bronze medal match, and Spain winning by eight, africaboy is two points ahead of Dunadan. Both of them picked Slovenia, @africaboy by 5 and @Dunadan by 2. Currently on third place, @vlad picked Serbia to win but can be surpassed by @mihamiha if Slovenia wins. Good luck!

Well, there was a mistake in Women's Football UEFA Euro 2017 Prediction Contest results. I swapped a set of results for matchday 11, ISL-AUT and SUI-FRA. Points have been corrected as well as Final Standing. You can check corrected results. Many changes, one of them including @heywoodu being a gold medalist, followed by @Dunadan and @africaboy on second and third place. Pablita is now fourth My apologies for the mistake

I might introduce a rule for next season: winning a gold medal - next three contest to be missed As I kept repeating myself last year - when I have free time, I can do my volunteer work. When I miss it, havoc occurs I am still really sorry and am ashamed (sort of) because of a mess from last year but I really wasn't able to finish the counting off. For next year, I have some plans and we will do things differently a bit. I might even open a thread in next few days to discuss changes/additions of rules, scoring systems, formats, spreadsheets and all other stuff concerning Prediction Contest. Also, I would like to have three standard members of "Prediction Contests Board" so we can update results regularly and establish Prediction Contests as reliable events on the forum and attract more users. Back in the old days, Prediction contests regularly had 50+ participants, with record of 130 participants for UEFA Euro 2012 (which I won and that was my first gold if I remember correctly). So, last and this years should be some sort of transition years; and starting with 2018 my intention is to have good schedule, much more contestants and regular updates

I'd like to see Iran. Not long time ago, I searched through Iranian music and discovered so many good songs. Not to mention how Farsi sounds beautiful to my ear. Hoping for Russia too @vovanA I might even be the first to nominate a song this time, decided even during Annual edition this year
