    Women's final will feature the highly unexpected duel of Canada vs USA. As shocking as it may sound, men's final will also see Canucks taking on Yanks.

    Entries for the African regatta. M1x (19) - W1x (19) - LM2x (7) - LW2x (3) - Apparently nations can qualify only one boat across all four events. The only expection is when 2 or more boats from the same nation finish first, in which case the nation can keep two places.

    Anyway, unusued apparatus quotas will be reallocated towards individual all-around. That probably means at least 9 more AA quotas, since I don't think we can expect any non-team nations in women's floor, beam or uneven bars finals?

    Oh, I was sure I remembered how only previously unqualified nations can get continental spots. But I guess that wouldn't please the big ones... Anyway, they released this video a while ago, in an attempt to explain the qualification system. "Ties will be broken using the procedures." Yeah, that's helpful.

    Here in Croatia we can't even see the 400 m hurdles final. Having a medal chance apparently means they have to shove the entire competition down our throats. Who cares!
